I still dont know what to call this story... but this is all i have so far... Untitled.
‘I will be the one, to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I’ll take your breath away, and after I’d, wipe away the tears, just close your eyes, dear.’
“Hello?” I said answering my phone, “I can’t talk right now I’m in class”
“I know I am too” Michelle looked at me and smiled. “Peek-a-boo I see you” she was sitting on the other side of the classroom.
“We look like idiots, why couldn’t you get up and come over here?” I glared at her. I was so angry. “He’s going to take our phones, you realize that?”
“He can try, but he’ll have to pry it from my cold dead fingers!” Michelle smiled again knowing the teacher would be getting annoyed any second now.
“That can be arranged” I smirked at her. She glared.
“Turn off your damn phones right now!” Mr. McKnight yelled. He glared at Michelle, and then glared at me.
“Shut up!” Michelle yelled back, “I’m on the damn phone!” Mr. McKnight stood there, speechless, He looked at Michelle, and then shifted his eyes to me, I ended Michelle’s phone call.
“Get out! Both of you! Now!” Mr. McKnight bellowed. We were in so much trouble. I smiled and grabbed my books, and walked to the door, waiting for Michelle, I tried not to laugh. Michelle joined me at the door and we walked out. Mr. McKnight slammed the door hard, we burst into laughter.
“Well, we have an hour before our next class, what should we do?” I asked Michelle. Seeing she was daydreaming, “thinking of Ken are we?” she turned red. Ken is her boyfriend.
“So what if I am?” she smiled, “can we hang out at your place?”
“I don’t know can Ken come?” I asked with the same cheeky smirk she used on Mr. McKnight.
“If it’s alright with you then yes he can!” Michelle smiled, and pulled out her phone to text message Ken. It was no surprise to me, Michelle having a boyfriend and not me, she is beautiful. Her brown hair the length of her shoulders, her brown eyes filled with compassion and love. Michelle was also a lot bigger than me in body sizes. Her chest was bustier than mine. I was always jealous of her chest. Her smile could knock out any man. Then there is me… Long brownish red hair, green eyes with a hint of hazel, my smile was only cute. But I could live with that.
“Okay, Ken says he’ll meet us in the courtyard” Michelle grabbed my hand. I heard someone’s voice. Coming closer to us, ‘Did ken decide to jump out at us?’ I thought to myself, pulled my hand free of Michelle’s and I watched. There he was. Charles. The guy I had been crushing on for 2 years. He is a year older than me. Ken is the same age. Every girl wants to be with Charles. Sadly, this includes me. But he doesn’t even know I exist.
“Meygan?” Michelle asked me, “Everything alright?”
“Huh? Yeah. I’m fine,” I smiled, “nothing to worry about. Come on. Let’s go see Ken, then head to my place” I grabbed her hand and dragged her, I looked back to see Charles. He looked back at me. I stopped. Michelle was now dragging me. ‘Does he know I exist?’ I thought to myself.
“Ken!” Michelle called out when she saw him, he stood up and waved.
“Michelle, Meygan!” He called, Michelle ran to him and jumped right into his arms, I walked up slowly Ken looked at me, “are you okay?”
“Oh, yeah I’m fine,” I smiled. Michelle looked at ken and then looked at me, “Let’s go put our books away, then go to your place.”
“Yeah, okay.” I nodded, and started walking towards our lockers.
‘I would be the one, to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I’ll take your breath away, and after I’d, wipe away the tears, just close your eyes, dear’
“Meygan. Are you going to answer your phone?” I reached into my binder for my phone.
“H-Hello?”
“Hey. Are you free later?”
“Mike?”
“No. It’s not Mike.”
“Oh, well who are you?”
“I can’t tell you right now, but are you free later?”
“I, don’t know, why?”
“Do you want to meet me in the school’s Courtyard tonight?”
“I,” I thought to myself, ‘who is this? Only mike and Ken call me.’
“Hello?”
“Sorry, I don’t think I can.” Ken looked at me, grabbed my phone and said I’d be there.
“7:30 tonight.” Ken hung up.
“Ken what are you doing?” I screamed at him, I had no idea who had just called, and I wasn’t about to meet some stranger. “Who do you think you are?”
“Meygan! Calm down. We’ll be there too. Just off to the side where you can’t see us, if anything happens I’ll be there.” Ken hugged me, “I’m not going to let you go alone, and you’re not going to bail out.”
“Thanks Ken, but…” I looked around; a dark figure moved into a classroom, “who was that?” I thought to myself slowly turning back to ken and Michelle, “Come on, let’s go to my house.” I started walking away.
“You okay Meygan?” Michelle looked at me, her eyes full of worry, I kept walking. “Two more blocks Meygan. Just two more. Then you can relax.” I told myself. “Just two."
“Meygan, you need help with the omelets?” Ken asked as we came to the front door. I turned around and smiled.
“Last time I let you anywhere near my kitchen we nearly died!” He mumbled something under his breath and I opened the door, “I’ll be fine” Michelle and Ken went into the living room while I went to the kitchen and got everything ready for the omelets.
“Do you really think Meygan’s alright?” Ken asked Michelle, “honestly. I’m worried someone is messing with her. I don’t want her getting hurt.”
“Ken, you shouldn’t worry about me so much,” I said looking at him; he looked shocked to see I had been listening, “I’m not a child! I don’t need to be protected.”
“Meygan calm down” Michelle said.
“Meygan, I care about you, you’re like my little sister, I’m always going to be here to watch out for you whether you like it or not!” Ken looked at me angrily. “It’s not a crime to want to protect someone.” I walked back to the kitchen. We sat in silence as we ate our food. I finished and cleaned my plate, and went upstairs to my room. Slamming the door loudly behind me.
“Who does Ken think he is? I don’t need to be protected. I can stand on my own!” I said loudly to myself, I heard a tap on my window. I looked around.
“What the hell?” I thought to myself, I hurried to the window, there was no one there. I looked again and saw a small box… with pink paper covering it... and a bow? I wanted to get a closer look. I ran across my room, ripped open my door and bolted down the stairs. Ken and Michelle must’ve heard me coming because they were in the doorway of the living room, watching me run past.
“Meygan what the hell are you doing?” Ken called to me as I took off out the front door, without shoes. He looked at Michelle; “I think she just went crazy” Michelle smiled and ran after me. Ken stood there. “Am I missing something?” he ran after Michelle.
“Meygan what is it?” Michelle called to me as she turned the corner of the house and saw me kneeling in the grass. Looking at a small box. “Meygan?” I picked up the box, looking closely at it, I shook it. Nothing happened. I decided I would open it. Ken ran up to me and grabbed it.
“What is this?” he looked at me again with a concerned face.
“Ken! I don’t know what it is, and I won’t know unless you give it back!” I charged at him, trying to tackle him down, he grabbed me and held me there. I couldn’t move.
“Ken you suck! Give it here!” I squirmed. Trying to break free.
“Okay, okay, calm down then” she smiled and let go of me, I dropped to the ground.
“Hey! That hurt!” I got up and kicked him. “That really hurt! I can’t believe you dropped me!” I glared at him. “Can I see that box now?” Ken tossed the box at me, I barely caught it.
“Gee thanks Ken!” I yelled. Michelle just stood there laughing.
“You guys are sad. If we’re going to live here you two need to calm down.” I shook the box again, it was so silent.
“Well open the damn thing already!” Ken said and laughed. I ripped the paper surrounding it. I opened the box and peered inside. A piece of paper? I took it out. Ken fell to the ground and laughed.
“That’s what you kicked me for?” he was rolling in the grass. “Wow. This is just awesome.” I went and kicked him again. He got up and tackled me. We were wrestling in the grass. Michelle went and picked up the paper.
“All this says is 7:30. Don’t be late.” Michelle laughed. “This is sad. You guys fought over a little paper that was a reminder of tonight.” Michelle walked into the house. Ken stopped wrestling with me. I had him on his back.
“I win” I smiled and got up. He grabbed my leg and pulled, I fell again. I kicked my leg up and hit his side. “I’m not losing to you!” he fell over and I got up. “Easy” I walked into the house smiling.
Ken walked in five minutes later; he was still holding his sides. Michelle laughed and looked at me,
“Don’t be so rough with him Meygan, he’s no where near as tough as you.” Ken glared at her then smiled and walked to the couch. He dropped down onto me and I squirmed. I pushed him off of me; he was now on the floor. He had a smirk on his face. Ken looked at Michelle, then back to me, his hand grasped my wrist and then I found myself on the floor with him. I got up quickly and went to the stairs.
“I’m going to take a nap!” I called to them, “If I’m not awake by 6:00 then wake me okay!” Ken yelled okay as I run up the stairs and to my room, closing the door quietly behind me. I dropped onto my bed.
“Who called me today?” I asked myself pulling out my phone to check the recent callers list. Sure enough, I didn’t find what I wanted. The most recent call I had received was an Unknown Name Private Number. I placed my phone on the desk and sprawled across my bed. I looked out my window and saw Mike, walking up to the house. Roses in his hands? I got off my bed quickly and opened my bedroom door poking my head out, “Ken! Michelle! Tell Mike I’m sleeping and to come back later!” I closed my door and went back to my bed, dropping onto it again. A few minutes later Michelle knocked on my door and came in. Placing the roses on my desk next to my phone.
“He said these are for you,” Michelle explained, “He’s a sweet guy, you should date him.”
“Michelle, I don’t want to. I want someone else.” I buried my face in my pillow, “you don’t understand.”
“Meygan, you and I both know Charles doesn’t even know you exist anymore.” Michelle walked to my door, “Think about it. When was the last time he even looked at you?” She left my room. I was alone again.
“Just today.” I said quietly to myself it made me smile. “He looked at me today. Maybe he does know I exist.” I got up and started pacing my room. Thinking hard about who had called me earlier.
“It could have been Mike. He could have made one of his friends call me.” I told myself. “Then again, it might not have had anything to do with Mike. Damn. Why can’t they just tell me who they are?” I sighed and lay down on my bed again. I soon fell asleep.
“Ken, who do you think called Meygan earlier?” Michelle asked worriedly, “and why did you say she’d be there?”
“Someone came up to me a few days ago; they asked me to make sure Meygan would be at the courtyard.” Ken answered.
“They? Whose they?”
“Him. It was only one guy.”
“Okay, but who was it?” Michelle asked loudly.
“Quiet! Meygan is sleeping. I can’t tell you who asked me, but don’t worry. I trust him. If something happens then someone will get their a** kicked.” Ken was getting angry. Anyone could see it in his eyes. Ken was like a shield. He always told me to come to him if I had problems, and I did. I always turned to ken for help. Ken went to the couch and lay down. Michelle followed and lay down with him.
“I think you made a mistake.” Michelle said, slowly turning her head to look at him, “how well do you know this guy?”
“We’re in the same classes. It’s been that way since we both started High School.” Ken hugged her, trying to reassure her. It wasn’t working.
“So you guys have the same classes, big whoop. That doesn’t mean you talk to him.”
“Of course we talk. I’ve been talking with Charles for a while now.”
“Charles? What? He called Meygan?” Michelle nearly fainted. “Are you kidding?”
“No. I’m not.” Ken smiled.
‘I would be the one, to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I’ll take your breath away, and after I’d wipe away the tears, just close your eyes, dear.’
I woke to the sound of my phone ringing; looking for it I saw my clock 7:00? No way! I scrambled from my bed, tripping on the blanket; I landed hard on the floor. Rubbing my head I rushed through the door and down the stairs. Ken and Michelle were asleep on the couch. I pounced on top of them and started yelling,
“Hey! Get up! We slept all afternoon!” I jumped off the couch, “Why are you guys sleeping?” Ken grabbed his phone and looked at the time.
“Calm down, you still have half an hour. Just put on a little make-up, brush your hair and put on a smile then you’re good.”
“Ken, you know damn well that I look bad with make up on” Ken and Michelle burst into laughter.
“Meygan that’s a damn lie and you know it.” Michelle said standing up, “come on. Lets go!” she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the stairs, I pulled my arm free,
“Michelle stop it!” I yelled. Ken must’ve heard cause he was right behind us moments later. My eyes started to go blurry, “just leave me alone! I don’t want to go! I don’t need your help!” tears started falling down my cheeks. I ran up the stairs and slammed my door.
“So help me ken if something happens to her!” I heard Michelle scream, “You’ll be so ******** sorry!”
“Michelle! Nothing is going to happen to her! Remember we’re going to be there to stop anything from happening. Calm down!” Ken promised.
“How can you be so sure?” she asked and started walking up the stairs to my room, she knocked softly, “Meygan, you alright?” She came into my room.
“Michelle? Yeah. I’m alright. Have you seen my eye liner?” I asked searching my room.
“It’s next to your phone.” She pointed to the desk.
“Oh yeah! Someone called my cell and woke me up.” I went to the desk and grabbed my phone. I looked at the missed calls and again, it said unknown Name Private Number.
“Who is that Meygan?” Michelle asked puzzled.
“Whoever called me at the school” I smiled, wondering who it was that called me. I couldn’t help but be a little excited. Maybe it was a prank. Now I was scared.
“Meygan come on, we have ten minutes to get there, put on your eye liner and get dressed.”
“I am dressed!” I said loudly. I had a shirt with the word Loser on it, and a pair of faded jeans.
“Okay, okay. At least change your shirt. He might think it’s aimed at him.” Michelle ran to my closet and pulled out a shirt that said Kiss me. It was one of my favorites.
“Fine” I said rolling my eyes. I took the shirt from her hands and pulled mine off my shoulders, quickly pulling the other one on. “Okay just give me 2 minutes” Michelle left my room, closing the door quietly behind her. I went into the bathroom and put on the eye liner, brushed my hair and left.
Michelle and ken were waiting downstairs by the door. I joined them and looked at Ken, then down to the floor.
“Meygan are you ready?” Ken asked, seeing I was a bit troubled, “you’ll thank me later. Don’t worry.” He opened the door smiling. Michelle and I walked out. Ken followed after and closed the door. I turned around and locked it.
“Here we go” I sighed, and started heading for the school. Ken walked with Michelle holding her hand, while I walked ahead thinking. I looked back to Michelle. “Michelle, are you okay?” I stopped walking and she walked right into me.
“Sorry, I’m just thinking, don’t worry” she smiled and I kept walking. The school was now in sight, I looked at my phone. 7:24. I could easily see Michelle was really worried, possibly more uneasy than I was about this idea.
“Meygan, you go straight, we’re going through the side alright?” I nodded and kept on walking. A few moments later I was in front of the school. I took a deep breath and made my way to the Courtyard.
‘I would be the one, to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I’ll take your breath away, and after I’d, wipe away the tears, just close your eyes, dear.’
“Hello?” I said answering my phone.
“Okay, we’re here waiting. He’s sitting here looking for you.” Ken informed me and hung up. I put my phone into my pocket and ran the last little bit of the way.
Ken was right. There was someone sitting on the bench. Slowly, I walked into the Courtyard. As I walked closer I began to notice a certain familiarity about the man sitting there. I moved closer and he looked up. I took a step back.
“Charles?”
“You came.” He smiled.
“What? What are you doing here?” I was confused.
“I came to see you” He looked at me, “You seem so surprised.”
“Well yes. I mean. I didn’t even think you knew I existed.” I looked down.
“Meygan, I am sorry, if I ignored you I didn’t mean to. You know I have girls after me. I know you have guys after you.” He smiled, “ most of my friends want to be your man. Did you know?”
“Charles, what are you talking about? I don’t understand. Why would your friends, want me?”
“Why wouldn’t we?” he smiled again and lifted my chin, “I’ve known you for a while now, since you started High School. I just never got the right moment to tell you.”
“Um...Charles. Why is this a good moment?” I pulled away from him, “I mean. You’ve had at least two years to talk to me. Why now?”
“It’s difficult. You went a certain way with school and your friends, I became involved with school and my friends. Some of yours don’t like me one bit. I can see that. Although all mine adore you. They are drooling over you. What’d you do to them?”
“I didn’t do anything!” I said loudly, confusion was mixing with anger, “I still don’t understand why they want me. Do you guys think I’m easy? Is that it?”

I thought that it was pretty good. It was a bit confusing, as there was a lot of dialouge, and not enough descriptions.
I also didn't think that a teacher would say, 'damn'.
It needs a bit of revision, but hey, most authors rewrite their books about 10 or so times. Don't give up on this story. smile

True, there was a lot of dialogue, but thankfully it was spaced out so that we could read it. I know that it's difficult to tab dialogue on Gaia.
As far as the teacher saying 'damn,' it isnt anything new. My English teacher was like that. She never yelled, but always told us we were "...too damn loud..." and that she "...could hear you all the way down the damn hall..." It was actually quite entertaining.
True, it needs some editing (grammer and spelling) but I will get on that as soon as I can. If you have any questions, please let Bomber or myself know.

also adding onto what Aurelia said, a teacher saying 'damn' isn't all that shocking, teachers are people like my or you and i have even had teachers that sweared, so it's not all that shocking. don't change that part of the story because it makes it authentic. people are like rocks, no two are alike and we are all different.

I thought it was pretty good. You might bring in a few more readers if you took down the swearing just one notch (******** was kinda harsh) Otherwise it was realy good.
