honor band was 3 days in a row and ended 2 days ago. I'm still tired. We did okay, but the 11-12 graders played music written for professional musicians. I was in the middle school honor band.

I made all state honor band this year as an eighth grader playing the clarinet.
I was most unfortunate to find out that my recording got screwed up during its trip up to fresno stare stare
I made the concert band ;];;... the symphonic band playing abracadabra by ticheli [I love ticheli's works!] he was there too! My bd had dinner with him biggrin they are friends blaugh I also made all regionals [all southern] twas awesome! I was in the orchestra sitting third chair :3

This year was the first year honors band was introduced. I forgot to go to my audition and I still got in... I guess it's because I'm a bassoon pirate

I've made my district honor band every year since eighth grade, but I was only able to qualify for All-State Band this year. (I live in Virginia, by the way.)
I totally bombed my audition. Seriously, it was the worst audition I had ever had.
But I still made ninth chair out of the 400-ish euphoniums who had auditioned, and of that 400, 32 got to make it to All-State auditions. I had scraped the last chair in the concert band, but I could've done so much better. It pisses me off just thinking about it.

Last year, my freshman year in high school, I made 2nd chair in all-county, and this year I made 3rd chair. This year I plan on making 1st chair in all-county and one of top 7 chairs in all-state.

I got in a honor band twice in 6th grade.
We had Winter Festival Honors Band and it was students that were picked from their school and we praticed on a Thursday of one week, another Thursday on the next week, and then the next week on a Saturday we had our final practice then our concert on that day.
Then I had All South Jersey Honors Band. (Yes, I am from New Jersey) It was two seperate bands, Red and Blue band. I was in Blue Band. We only had one practice on the day of the concert. I didn't really like it too much because I didn't have most of my friends there. So I didn't have so much fun on that.
