I want to start working on my device but im as Heraldricly ((sp)) challenged as you can get. Can someone give some advis, or website, or both.

Speaking of Talbots, perhaps you could use something like a portcullus for a home, or a helm / gauntlet for a warrior, sword up for "at war" or sword down for "protection"...
Its more baised on what your personality is. Afterall, why did you choose a Talbot?
