I decided to make a link where you can discuss theories about why the others think and do things.
I think that everyone would agree that the others have done things that clearly point to them being evil. Yet they continue to tell the survivors that they are not the badguys. My take on this is that even bad guys can view themselves as the goodguys if there is a worse evil at hand. Furthermore, goodguys can be pressed into doing things normally viewed as extreamly bad or evil to protect themselves from worse evils. I am pretty convinced the others fall under one of the two categories above, but who or what is this other evil??? The monster?The Scientists? Ruso? The survivors?
