HEAR YE HEAR YE! All yous scurvy dogs gather round t'hear the rules and regulations of an exciting new game called ICON SMACKDOWN!

Soes, hows it works is simple: Yous scour the net or make your own icon that you thinks rocks. And then yous enter it in this here contest that other people thinks rocks. And you square off against another icon that might be cool, too. And yer crewmates and yous votes on your favorite. Because there'll be a poll.

Soes, yer icon'll be 100x100 pixels, which is standard livejournal size and pretty easy t'find. Once one person's used an icon, yeh can't use it again. Please refrain from usin' profanity in yer icons, but other than that its open season. Yer icon can be from any fandom or from no fandom at all. Yeh'll post it here and say "Sign me up" when you want to play.

Now, if'n you lose your round, yeh'll be back here with a new icon we hopes. If'n you win, yeh'll go on to face another challenger. Each time yeh win, yeh'll get 50g. Or something of equal value. We ain't picky. Each contest'll run three days t'give you plenty of time t'vote.
