I haven't been here in a while, but I've been keeping my favorite Anita Blake Quotes. I know there are quotes on the Timber-Wolf Anita Blake site, but it's not updated or whatever and I just wanted a thread where ya'll can post whatever quote you wanted.
It doesn't have to be funny either. They can share heart felt moments from the characters. wink
OOOOH, before I start this off, I have a funny as hell Anita Blake parody that someone wrote a looong time ago in a LKH forum, but it got deleted b/c her's (LKH) lawyers said no fanfics/parodies could be posted on the forum or fanfiction.com. It stops at Cerulean Sins I think, but it's still good. PM me if you want me to send it to you (it's too big for me to post).
Let the Quotes begin (feel free to comment on them, also, try to tell what book it's from and who said it):

I have WAAAAAY too many favorite quotes from the series, however one quote jumps to mind that I'd like to share. I think that the combination between tenderness, desperation, death, and that little bit that's just plain Anita is what SHOULD be the essence of the series (*coughnarcissusinchainsfailedatthiscough*

I love this quote because it was when Larry was still new and inexperienced. Don't pet the goat. You're gonna have to kill it in a minute. I quoted this in front of some friends who didn't read the series and they just looked at me like I was crazy. But, I got a kick out of it...
