Do not come in here if you don't want to hear spoilers about the upcoming book!
I thought since Incubus Dreams is coming up soon, people might want to start discussing anything they have read as far as previews or things you might have heard. I know the first 2 chapters are on the Laurell K. Hamilton website, as well as other places. So feel free to discuss anything having to do with the new book.
You do not have to post *spoilers ahead* in each post because this whole topic has been marked with it. So please, anyone not wanting to learn anything about this book...go back, do not read any further.

Alrighty, I'll be the first to reply! ^^ I've read a bit of the book in an anthology called Cravings. I'm not sure how much of it there is, exactly, but I know it's more than the first chapter.
The biggest thing...
ANITA, DAMIAN, AND NATHANIEL ARE ANOTHER TRIUMVIRATE!!! They start accidently (I think) giving each other the marks on Anita's kitchen floor! eek And they go all the freakin way too! Til the fourth mark!!! Which she doesn't even have with Jean Claude and Richard! @____@;;; And then...it...just...kinda...ENDS!! I was ANNOYED XD; I wanna know what happens neeexxxttttt!!!11!!one sweatdrop
Ok....I'm done now. Promise. I just had to get that out...which is why I'm glad you made this thread ^__^;;;;

gonk Has anyone got a link to the first chapter? The first chapter to cerulean sins was online before it was out, do you think there is for Incubus Dreams?

I got the paperback of Cerulean sins and it has the first chapter... kinda odd..
Nathaniel stripping ending to where Jean-Claude and Anita discuss who gets to be on bottom. xp

Coconut_Rei *dies* And still......Anita is forming more and more into a Mary Sue....... crying I'll end of quitting soon enough. So I'm not the only one who's noticed. I like the character and all, but she's just getting to be too much. It's kinda like people who go into an RP and God-mode, only well written. sweatdrop

yeah, but you have to agree, anita is totally cool enough to pull it off. not to mention, down to earth enough. really...
but what would be neat, would be another strong female character that plays a big part to offset anita. maybe hamilton could give one of the existing characters a bigger role (sylvie, ronnie, etc) or make a new one. but, then the question becomes, would this next character become a mary sue?

Would someone please tell me what chapters are in Cravings? It doesn't sound like it is chapter 1. Nothing in chapter 1 that is posted online has anything to do with Damian, Anita and Nathaniel being able to do the triumvirate. I can't wait to read about that!

Did any of you get that special little newspaper mock up of Anita Blake. It's supposed St. Louis times or something. It's really neat, it has fake little articles about Vampire killings so forth. I got it when I preordered the new book. xd
