Hello. I'm not going to say my real name, but you can call ma Kapu. I read all the time. I have read almost every Redwall. There are still a few I need to read.

Welcome!
I haven't read the last two or three books that came out, myself. The original Redwall is just my favorite. smile

Hi, and thanks! biggrin So, yeah...I've read all of the Redwall books, including the new one, and Rakkety Tam is definitely toward the 'favorites' end now. That and High Rhulain (which I hope is spelled corectly, but it's too early for me to check). Go otters and badgers! Woo!
For those who don't know, I roleplay: Sideswipe the badger on this forum/board/thing and several characters elsewhere. Have been doing so for nigh eight years, which means I started when I was about eleven (huzzah D&D!). I am also a medieval reenactor, so if you see any archaic language crop up, blame that.
Aaaaand..I'll be quiet now. *trots off with her sketchbook*

Hey, I'm Meg, and I'm younger then I act. I'm currently reading The Bellmaker in the Redwall series, and happen to love birds and reading. One of my favorite things about Brian Jacques' style of writing is that he uses the adjective awesome in a way where it can mean good or bad.

Welcome!
"Awesome" is a really cool adjective because of that. It gets hijacked to always mean something good (I admit, I do it all the time), but only means something impressive and stunning. Something that sort of leaves you gaping and rooted to the spot for a moment. So a terrible and powerful villian can be just as "awesome" as a terrible and powerful hero.
Yup. sweatdrop
