With the DS Lite coming out in under a week, I want to hear your opinions on it. Pointless? Cool? Don't care? Post 'em!
The DS Lite is 2/3 smaller than the original, 20% lighter, and much brighter with a brightness control setting; which is good for contrast games such as Metroid Prime Hunters. It has a thicker and longer stylus packed with it, and a cover for the GBA port when you aren't using it. Plus, the Start, Select, and Power buttons are out of the way of your thumbs. The buttons are slightly raised from the system, and higher up on the system. The control pad is smaller than the original for faster gameplay. The microphone is placed in the center of the system for a tighter feel. And, don't worry, the screen sizes stay the same as the original, they just look bigger with the smaller design(to me anyway).
That's all I know.
EDIT:
I have one! Splee! I shall now do a pros/cons list for you all.
Pros: Small enough to fit in your pocket.... And light enough to walk around with it. Power button is out of the way of thumbs. Has a spiffy cover for the GBA port. The stylus is significantly bigger. You can turn it off when it's closed. A new power connection, it dosn't fall out easly. It looks a lot better; outside and in. The buttons don't give thumb cramps. Sound is a bit better.
Cons: The control pad is a little too small. A new power connection, You can't use another one if you lose the one you got. You still only control the brightness from the main menu. If your a**l like me, you have to constantly wipe the fingerprints off the new plasting casing over it. You can turn it off when it's closed.
That's all I got.

It's only a way of improving a system, i still have the ds, and i also realize that there are a lot of things improved but, its just not a need if you have the old one
