A few questions have been sent to me about whether one's ID must be in public view (IE: In your signature).
I have not cleared this with Danka, but it is my belief that, no, your ID need not be placed in your signature, though if you wish to use it as such, feel free.
I can suggest a few alternatives, however.
1) There's always the option of putting it in your sig. 2) Why not try posting it in your profile instead? 3) Got a quest thread (or any type of thread with an "Affiliates" section) you use regularly (1+ posts daily)? You can put it there. 4) If you absolutely cannot stand to post the ID anywhere public, then we ask that you post it in your first post in any RP you join, to let people know your level. Obviously, Ribbon would be excluded from this because everyone has already made their first posts. Metamorphosis would, however, require the ID post. IF it isn't somewhere else readily viewable.

Could we make it into a banner-like thingy? So wherever we place it, clicking it would lead to the guild?

Of course. We supplied it without the link so you wouldn't feel obligated, but I"ll put the guild link up in the first post of the ID thread immediately.

I must be missing it but I've yet to see a thread that tells me where I get an id....I'm a freshman, naturally.

Sense I’m new I hope I don’t get whacked with a ruler and sent to sit in a classroom somewhere in the boondocks…but is there a certain procedure about how to get your ID? Like if it was going to be put in my signature what would I do to get it there?

The art of love is largely..... Well if you know how to, you can put your ID together yourself using the pictures in the IDs thread (The one below this one). You can also put in a request for one and someone will put it together for you.
As for placing it in your signature

That should be placed in your signature. ...the art of persistence.

Fire Emblem... So that I know.....where would I request someone to help me with my profile, such as putting it in my sig, because HTML, is not a thing of mine yet, so I feel kinda stupid right now, being lost....exactly like a freshman.
...Go Hector!

You would go to the IDs thread and request one of the Freshmen IDs.
They should give you a code to copy, and then all you would have to do is copy and paste it into your signiture or into your profile. It's an IMG code like this: Hopefully that helps you some.

If we change the appearance of our avatars, are we welcome to apply for a new I.D., even if we haven't graduated into a new grade yet?
