I'm rereading the series (Anita Blake of course) and I was noticing things that LKH barely to none even mentions now later in the books. Like Dead Daves...and she's even gotten to where I don't remember her mentioning Irving in the last few books. (hey, I loved Irving for being persistent. lol)
Dead Daves and Irving was just a suggestion, but there are more that I recognized that aren't mentioned later on in the series and I miss them. What do you miss that LKH can bring back or mention at least??

I really can't believe that she is leaving Irving out. He was so important in the earlier books! But hell, she completely left out Asher in Incubus Dreams, except for just mentioning him a couple of times. I mean he is a main character now.

I might not be remembering this right, but wasn't Dave arrested or killed in one of the books?
That might be why his bar isn't brought up anymore...
I agree about Irving, though. Whatever happened to him?

Whatever happened to him? I don't remembering anything happening to Dave....I remember how the story went with how he became a vamp. and they fired him from the police squad for it.

You might be thinking about the bartender in Burnt Offerings that was a part of the whole plot against vamps.

I wouldn't mind seeing Burnt Offerings again, but only because Anita makes a point of saying that she liked the place... You know, before the bartender gets carted away.
I wouldn't mind seeing Narcissus in Chains again, but only because it'd introduce the hyenas back into things and also because I want LKH to go into detail for those little "entertainments" that Narcissus has put on. Of course, if NiC gets shown again then I want a female hyena introduced into the mix so that Narcissus isn't the bosshog anymore. I don't like the shehe.
And, on a side note, I think Guilty Pleasures gets shown too much.

Ya, what happend to Irving...
and she doesn't metion Wille much at all any more...
she animated him too along with Damion and some others...
what happened to them when she disappered for six months? why was
Damion the only one who went crazy?

FenrisVollmond And, on a side note, I think Guilty Pleasures gets shown too much. meh, I wished that she visited The Laughing Corpse (though I doubt that Jean-Claude goes there often unless to check on things .)

I know Anita can't own Lunatic Cafe but she can be there more on pack dealings. Edwards house... I wanna know how life is with Donna and the kiddies.
Obsidian Butterfly we don't know if she's a threat to Anita only that she likes power and that can be anyone friend or foe.
Monica... I wanna know if her baby was born yet and if Anita is babysitting yet wink

I think the other were's have started to be neglected again.It was cool hearing about the swans and the bears instead of just alot of wolf and pard.....I think there not using as much of the lore behind the cultures anymore.......I want to know what happened to Peter..and I think it's becca..

hey, in GP, ya'll remember the big wererat that Anita went against and he promised that if they met again, he'd hurt her or something, I wished that they would meet again. xp
