My name is Chris, Im 23 and I am currently employed by the US ARMY as a firefighter. Im stationed at Fort Hood Tx. Did a tour in Iraq in 2003-2004. Not looking forward to going back, but that looks probable in the not so near future. I am married to a wonderful woman who I met in highschool. We are expecting our first child around May 23rd. I used to have two cats, but we ended up giving one away. Now, just one named Lee. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, Hiking, ect. I love flying aircraft, allthough I haven't done that in a few years now. But, I just payed off a large amount of debt and I am looking to get back into aviation. I read often, mostly military history. I also really like horror movies... If you want to know anything else, just ask. xp

texashammerhead Was that Fire school or Fire ritual? The picture was snapped one day at one of the burn houses we were doing. It was a kitchen fire I think..

That pic of your friend at the fire school looked amazing! My cousin used to be in the Royal Air Force as a firefighter just after the 1st Gulf War.
Best of luck with your son. I remember the ulstra-sound scans I had done with my kids - your pics look better than mine. I remember grey smudges and I could never make out which bits were baby and which bits weren't.

Holy Cow this thread is old. Just thought I might update it. Since I last posted in here, my son is now 25 months old. I have a daughter on the way, due in september. I have been promoted twice, to Staff Sergeant. I moved military stations to Goodfellow Air Force Base, still in Texas. I now teach military students to become fire fighters. I bought a house about 4 Days before I got my orders out of Fort Hood... Needless to say that is still a fiasco... But, I have about half of my application done to become an Aviation Officer in the US ARMY. I am hoping to turn that in in September or October. Hopefully that will go the way I want it too. No current deployments on the Horizon. Need to know anything else, just ask.

i remember my daughter's second birthday. she was so against smashing the cake that we got specifically for her. we had to practically smash it in her face for the messy cake pics. now she's gonna be 6. time sure does fly. glad to see that things are going well for you. also glad to see that you're able to me more active here.

I also had Gaia burnout a while back. I had a few troubles with another member. But, that is no longer a problem, and I have had quite the break, so ... ninja

Your son has gotten so much hair! One of my friends just had a baby three months back, so it's nice to see the youngin's with head-coverage.
