Who all is going to Pennsic this year? This is going to be my first time there, and my 21st birthday also happens to occur during War Week *does a little dance*.
I think we should have a Gaia SCA guild meetup.

Ah, Pennsic...one of my SCA dreams...
still unrealized. And likely to be so for awhile. Sigh. I'll have to live vicariously through everyone else's stories!

It should be a good one, because it coincides with the Society's 40th anniversary.
You;ve all heard the origin story about the birthday party in costume in a backyard in Berkely? No, I wasn't there...

Yea. . . I still have no idea how long my lord and I are staying, but at least now we know for sure that we have a camp to stay with. 3nodding
My first Pennsic. . . I'm so excited! And I'll be turning 21 soon after!! cool
We're staying with the Black Legion; ask for Alessandra and/or Sidney-- for rarely is one seen without the other! xd heart

a meet up would be awsome
but I wont be there
need a job and an internship this summer
I plan on going to my shire's fall Autumn Rose weekend event though! My buddy and I are 'security', lol smile ! We were up so late last year we might as well be the actual format security to get people to shut up and let others sleep.
Ugh...a group brought a major drink (two sips was enough for me to say no to more) and they should have camped further away from the others if they were going to have lights and noise half the night. Ah well-it worked out. smile I love Autumn Rose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so would love to go to war this will be the third one I've missed. The first one I didn't know about until war came around because I joined in june last year I had to save for tuition and realized I could have gone because I won free tuition for first semester. This year they decided to hike tuition so I have to save up some more again. crying

I think a meet up would be a fun idea. I'm only going to be there second week but if anyone wants to meet and they don't expect me to be up before 10am then I'm totally down with that. heart
