The majority of this feeling that had so blindsided him had been the loss of Takarath. While his sire had been around Aresoth had not understood just how much he had taken that feeling for granted. Of having both his dam and sire still upon this planet, still available to speak to if he ever needed them.
He was not close to many of his siblings as they were with one another but that never meant that family was not important to him. He had mourned for those taken from their clutch too early, grieved for Thanoth when her wings were lost. They were his family and as a bronze there were times he felt as if he should protect them, or he should have helped to prepare them a bit better then they were now.
These feelings continued onto his own clutch as well, his own children grown already and fighting in the enemy with him. They were capable adults but that did not mean that Aresoth did not like to check in on them, even if he did not speak to all of them.
This day all of these thoughts that had plagued him for more then a seven day continued through his mind. He lay upon the fire heights, enjoying the sun upon his hide before he reached out to one of his own. Vardoth, if you are free would you mind to join me?
