Alguna Scavenger"I'd like some time alone, please"[Nautilina, near Nadia's home] Alguna was traveling around the ocean, looking for new spots to find shellfish so he wouldn't deplete the population near his home in Alfitaria lake. He spotted a merfolk city and decided to stop and ask for directions and recommended hunting spots. He stopped and asked a passing mermaid who might know where to look, and the young lady recommended the home of Nadia, one of the city's leader figures. He rung a bell and waited patiently; a purple-haired mermaid who was a few years older than him answered the door. "Hello, I'm Alguna, a scavenger. A local mermaid told me you might be able to help me find a good place to look for shellfish."OOC: his tail is supposed to be greenish-brown, so brown is close enough- this was the closest color they had in the game; it's greener than his hair, but not as green as his eyes (his eyes are the same color as his text, like Paige and Hugo.)

I'd be happy to help. Nadia said to Alguna as she swam to a bookshelf and got out a chests of some maps she drew of the Mermaid Villages. Would you like a copy of a map to where you can find some Shellfish?

Alguna Scavenger"I'd like some time alone, please"[Nautilina, near Nadia's home] "Ah yes, a map would be very helpful. Also your home is very opulent." He accepted a map and glanced at it briefly. "Yeah, this will help. Thank you, I must go, work and all that. I hope you have a nice day and all that." He swam out to find shellfish to put in his shoulder bag. OOC: the bag isn't in the game, but it's basically just a brown sack with a diagonal shoulder strap.

Alguna Scavenger"I'd like some time alone, please"[Nautilina, traveling toward Marr's Pass] "Sure, if I recognize them, I don't get out much." Alguna swam over toward one area that showed a reef which should have plenty of mussels which he could eat or sell; he might give a few to his distant cousin and friend Norine. He saw several merfolk swimming around, including one young mermaid with teal hair and tail who seemed to be watching a few mermaids who were doing some kind of underwater dancing. Silly kids, he thought, even though he was barely older than them. In the meantime, Alguna swam along slowly through the dark water. For some reason he found it rather calming to travel by night; most of the dangerous creatures were down in the abyss at this time. OOC: ofc this merman is Torren, the other OC who will be at Marr's Pass. And Kendall would likely be one of the mermaids mentioned, if she's not already occupied. just edited this with an extra bit rather than posting twice. (Torren will probably show up in the morning)

 Torren Musician"How do I express myself?"Torren had been awake for a little while, and just finished his breakfast. He was swimming outside with many of the other young merfolk. He saw Kendall say hi to him and shyly waved. "Um, hi." He waved to a few other friends as well.

He was too embarrassed to mention she was in the dream, she was singing with him; no, that would make everything awkward. And maybe she likes a human boy, but at least we're friends. Torren Musician"How do I express myself?""Hmm, that would be interesting. I know our friends Nim and Axel went over to the beach yesterday and I heard they were transformed into humans." He waved to a couple younger mermen (merboys?) and they laughed at him and one of them joked "Ooh look, I bet they're BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND heehee!" They swam away before Torren could say anything, but he was too awkward to speak anyway and his face was flushed. OOC: the merboys came out of nowhere LOL I didn't even plan it
