tab House Eleganza had been open for some weeks, yet there was not quite the influx of ponies Kyanite Pop had been expecting. While the world was not entirely oppressive to ponies like them self, not every pony accepted every other pony, and that was what their herd aimed to fix. To give those ponies who were not fully accepted a place to be themselves, and to be loved by every pony around them. Kyanite had already met a few ponies in their endeavor to create this community who desperately needed such a space. Kyanite had even gotten it up and running just in time for Pride Month, a big month centered around the very community they wanted to thrive.

tab With word of House Eleganza just starting to spread, and the slow influx of ponies, Kyanite decided to try something: Perhaps getting a big party together would entice ponies into coming to at least check the place out! Not all of the store fronts are taken yet, although several are. Many of the apartments are open and waiting for ponies. Yet Kyanite wasted no time in pulling together an extravagant parade!

tab Streamers and banners have been hung all along the buildings. Ponies who might not yet be willing to open a store in the community were invited to create pop up stands in front of store fronts, to at least be able to sell their wares. Food carts have been included in this, their smells wafting through the small town in a whirlwind of deliciousness. Music blasts from speakers strewn throughout the little town, spaced just enough so that the sound never fades. It seems as if word spread rather quickly of the massive parade and party, bringing in ponies from everywhere. Kyanite them self is dressed in a big, feathery and flashy outfit, and has just given a speech about the community they are trying to build, and about pride month in general. Now, it is time for the real festivities to begin!




- Ponies of all ages, breeds, sexualities, genders, etcetera, are welcome to join in on the fun! No pony is to be excluded, whether they are part of the herd or not. Street vendors line the sidewalks for ponies to inspect, and there are a few shops who have already taken up root amongst the store fronts of the community. Please, come mingle with your friends, or come along and make some new ones! Have some food, grab a drink, and get to dancing!

- Since this is starting so late, it isn't going to just end at the end of the month (which is only, what, a week away?) Instead, this is going to last at least until the end of July! It could get extended if people want to just keep interacting, otherwise, it will close down July 31st!

- Unfortunately, at this time, I don't have access to prizes or trinkets to give out. I hope this doesn't turn anyone away! Also, you can have as many ponies in here as you want! Every pony is welcome, after all! For time line sake, let's just all pretend this takes place before the current META, that way, if anyone who has a pony in the META also wants said pony to participate here, they can!

tab Kyanite took to the streets after their big speech on the community and the parade. They did shed their huge feathery outfit, as did their best friend Octavia, but they still stood out. Why? Because they were saying hello to absolutely every pony they saw, loudly. Very loudly. They wanted ponies to feel welcome and at home. That was what the whole place was about after all.

tab After a few minutes of this, they did spot one of their newest tenants. Andromeda. They were a gorgeous little fish, looking like they had natural sparkles to their fur. Just like Kyanite. It made them stand out pretty easily. Plus, they were absolutely gorgeous. And sweet. Very sweet.

tab Kyanite trotted over towards them, smiling. "Andromeda!" they beamed, laughing as they came up beside the other. "Dear, do try to leave some of the streamers up! If you want some for yourself, I will give you as many as you want after the parade is over! Deal?" they hummed, patting the other pony's shoulder gently.

Fashionable on time was what Cocoa always said, of course the proper term was probably fashionable late but he said it the way he wanted too. But Cocoa or in this case Lola ran on Lola time which meant Lola was here on time. Lola has a red and rainbow dress on and a giant feather boa and all her make up. She had even paid a pony to carry a feather back drop behind her so that if there were photos she new the back drop was perfect every time. Plus there was nothing like having a handsome pony following you around and waiting on your needs.

"Hello world never fear, LOLA IS HERE!." Lola announced strutting on to the scene.

Looking around Andromeda couldn’t quite figure out why a pony had fluffy rug being held up behind them. Blinking a few times she noticed a glint of light of something bright and shiny. Moving toward it she recognized the shiny. It was Obsidian Quartz. A large smile spread on her face having recognized the shiny she moved forward swiftly trotting. Before she had met them and shown them food but had gotten distracted and lost then. It happened. Still they were here now which was what mattered. “So pretty!” She called out as she got close. Her tail fin glided in the air behind her as she moved swaying back and forth.

Obsidian Quartz's ears flicked as they heard a familiar voice that called them 'pretty'. As they approached Andromeda they spoke up "ah...hello Andromeda nice to see you here" they said to her. They looked around intrigued by everything, this was the first time they had been to this sort of thing but then they drew their attention back to Andromeda. "How are you today?" they asked.

‍‍ㅤㅤㅤCandy Frost made his way down the street in his shiny new suit (which he got made especially for Pride, thank you every much). Shoulders back, he held himself with such... well, pride! You couldn't come to such a big event as this and not be full of strong emotion.

ㅤㅤㅤLooking around, the small dragon took in his surroundings. Different vendors selling flags of all kinds, streamers flowing about, music pumping in the air. Everything about this event screamed 'Welcome!'

ㅤㅤㅤ"Ah, there truly is nothing like pride." He smiled warmly and turned to one of the near shops, checking out the array of items they were selling.

Myst Flight flipped the sign from ‘closed’ to ‘Open’ there was still the help wanted sign in the door window but they couldn’t pass up the chance to sell more books and incense during the festivities. It would be a pain to miss out on the shopping but that was the life of a shopkeeper. The mist around them smelled of tangy cherry as they had burned some incense in the apartment before coming down to open up their store. With The Page Turner Open finally as they had finished moving in the last of the books so far and organizing last night they were looking forward to seeing some ponies finally able to wander the store. There had been a few busy ponies peeking in while the set up had been taking place but it was finally going to open and with the festivities going on the opening weekend was sure to be a hit.


Passing out fee food samples Midas was sleep deprived by smiling. They were proud of the food stall they had set up and had a flat top grill they could make full fresh food and several quick cook set up samples they could grill and just hand out. So far it had worked great. There was so much to enjoy. Their sister was working the restaurant and Midas was working the walkway. The restaurant The Sea Dragon’s Fangs had Chinese food dishes and the smell was wafting over the crown making all the passer by ponies more hungry. Bring it on.
