Your Child will be growing up and part of the Phoenix Maidens or The Hosts of Phoenix valley (Depending on their identity). Please Read up on them before entering! Maidens/Host Discord
Their mothers
Izulai and Grace are Quasiplatonic partners and two out of three of the co-founders of the Phoenix maidens: meaning they are the closest of friends and they are often mistaken for being girlfriends/lovemates.
Izulai is a kind and sultry mare and incredibly petite, to the point where her belly is at back height for most Usdia, including Grace, and will often rest her chin on Grace's head. She is also the Queen of the Phoenix Maiden Flock. Grace meanwhile is a warm and bubbly mare, and a native to Phoenix Valley. She's also the Ambassador for the Phoenix Maiden Flock. The two, over all, are pretty snuggly.
The Spirits mistook their snuggliness as being a couple, and gifted them the twins: Izulai was pleased to suddenly be a mother again and Grace.. Well Grace was quite startled to have kids in her image, but was more than happy for the surprise.
Siblings
Onslow Amachi: Current King of the Hosts of Phoenix Valley, and half brother on Izulai's side. If your kid Identifies as Male (or is non-binary and wishes to join both herds/the herd out of the two main official options they feel suits them best), you'll be joining the Hosts and learning from him: as an experienced resort owner, he's here mostly to help get it all started up.
If your kid identifies as Female, they'll learn the basics of their biological sex from the hosts as part of their growing education and will only really encounter Onslow during joint ceremonies or visits to either side of the valley.
Omarosa: Your kid's basketmate She's a member of the Phoenix Maidens, and is one of the top Chefs for the Gourmet Customized meals for VIP customers and is the main one who designs the menu for what is available for both the VIP Customers and the open meal options based on what is available. Does very little cooking herself beyond creating the dishes and recipes, and only ever really cooks for special guests, where she puts a show cooking in front of them.

Prompt Response: Haruko is a light-hearted individual, always seeing the 'glass half-full' in life. While he enjoys traveling and seeing new sightz, Haruko also likes the home comforts of the Hosts of Phoenix Valley.
Being a singer for hire who is gaining traction in popularity among outside herds, his love for learning new cultures, travel and meeting new faces is satisfied. When not on the road, Haruko helps shape young males as a teacher, or offering his 'biological' services to a mare / couple who has requested him.
He hopes he can continue his singing career while he is young but as age creeps upon him, Haruko would like to consider settling down within the Phoenix stallions and train to be a Fertility specialist.

Prompt Response:
He is an individual of...renown, but not in the same sense that the majority would like to aspire to. Unfortunately, while he would very much like to be an Entertainer he's known for lacking the timing for comedy and the grace for dancing. That hasn't stopped him trying, but generally speaking he's probably only fit to be a Stud at this point in his life.
Nevertheless, he isn't one to let his dreams be dreams so he continues to pursue the role of a dancer in the Hosts of Phoenix Valley. Whether or not there's an intervention remains to be seen, but for now, he may find himself able to warp his unique set of uh...skills into something akin to performance comedy.
It should therefore come as no surprise that he's about as subtle as an anvil and a bit of an idealist. He's passionate, believing he should pursue every aspiration he has to the best of his ability but in the end, he takes true failure badly. If he were to fail so utterly it is highly likely he would be found huddled up, moping and a bit of a pit of despair until he found something new to inspire him.

Light RP currently, I would be willing to plot more extensively if I manage to find time though. Generally if there's a big event on that a group would like to run e.g. the hosts, then if I know the dates I'd try my best to be an active participant in it... But I do have to schedule my time in so I have enough of it!
Why do YOU want to join?:
Other than the small wink to Ouran High School? In all seriousness I like these concepts, particularly when there's a strict emphasis on consent (I get tetchy even in other places in regards to this). It seems like an environment where I can ICly explore certain types of personality in a region where it makes sense. Quite frankly a fair chunk of my soquili come from fairly strict and stuffy lines so it's never made sense for them to be quite so free with their behaviour (nor quite so accommodating if they feel inclined).

Prompt Response: Matlali is a chipper young girl, eager and happy to help. Their favorite part of the Phoenix Maidens Guild is the birth of new blood. Their passion for the guild is utilized perfectly with Matlali as a midwife's helper, assisting Keyah in the creation of new life. Whether or not that life stays with the guild or gets cast out upon, Matlali is still happy to help. They love serving both as that midwife's assistant but also as an adoption coordinator. With the many odd couples coming to the guild looking for potential foals to adopt, there is a need for advocates of the young colts to ensure they are going to a good home. Matlali loves serving as that mare, helping in any way she can to make the lives of these youths as fulfilling and happy as possible, within the guild or not.
In general, they are a happy mare, simply satisfied by serving their herd in whatever way they can.

What kind of RP/plotting/etc are you comfortable with?: All of the above! I love RP (although I can be slow) but plotting in general is great with me. I have to admit, I'm not the most creative of types, but I'm passionate about my characters and where they go in life. I'm very active on Discord (I have it on my phone and open on my work computer), so I'm always there and down for anything.
Why do YOU want to join?: I think the herd is a really neat idea! I haven't had the chance to be apart of such great things here at Soquili, so I'm eager (just like Matlali) to be apart of something so wonderful. Plus, the opportunity for RP and plots are ripe, which excites me.

Azulai is a graceful, elegant mare, with perfected poise and a knowing, calm aura that can be felt from the second she steps into a room. She is calculated, precise, and wise beyond her years, and her level head makes her an excellent mediator in stressful situations.
At least, that's what she wants you to think.
Genuinely, she's doing her best to be all those things, in spite of herself--she's not the pinnacle of wisdom, and she's not even that patient, but she's trying. Azulai wants to fulfill her dreams of being the almost ethereal figure she's imagined, but in reality, she's just not that good at it all yet. She comes closest to emulating these ideals when she's dancing; it's her true passion, and watching her perform is breathtaking, even if she's not all that experienced just yet. She truly hopes that she can capture even a fraction of the elegance she daydreams about, but she knows it'll take time and effort--she has a bit of a hard time accepting that, to be honest, although there isn't much she can do about it.
Azulai is a mare trying to better herself and come to terms with her identity, and she's more shy than you would expect--life among the Phoenix Maidens is all she's ever wanted to know, and the thought of what all is out there beyond the safety of her home is terrifying to her. As a result, she can be somewhat flighty with newcomers and guests in a social setting, but when she's entertaining, she's an entirely different mare. Azulai loses herself in the dance, all of her self-conscious thoughts and nerves fading away as she moves--this is one of the few times where others can see past her insecurities and see her how she truly is.

Turquesa is a dreamy, soft spoken and creative member of the Phoenix Maidens. They spend a lot of their time serving customers as a sort of emotional companion, and will dote adoringly on any guests who desire company. It's rarely disingenuous- they truly see beauty and good in most everyone, and if someone seems they may need cheering, or requests it as a service, Turquesa is more than happy to oblige with whatever kind of conversation a guest needs, whether it's a sympathetic ear, a little ego-boost or just some advice. VIP guests may be treated to things like poems composed for them- Turquesa is fairly good with words, and if someone has requested, they will happily wax lyrical about any given guest. They stay at the main resort- the nature of their work as an emotional companion means that they have to be very clear about their role, in case guests form an emotional attachment- although Turquesa truly means everything they say, their home is with the Phoenix Maidens, and they don't like travelling with particular guests, in case the situation becomes confusing.
Their other interest is in interior design- when they aren't busy whispering sweet nothings to someone, they're often found fastidiously tidying and adjusting the VIP suites- gathering flowers and laying them just so, making sure the tent door falls so that the light catches the colours exactly right, and generally making sure the surroundings for guests are as perfect as they can make them. Their fixation on detail can come as a surprise to some, since they seem very relaxed and detached most of the time, but those close to them know that when they get their mind set on a particular idea of how something should look, they wont stop until they've achieved it. They aren't themselves an especially skilled craftsperson, but they do love to help others' creations shine to their fullest, even if that creation is just a particularly nice woven blanket.
Turquesa themself is, as mentioned, primarily creative and dreamy- the "dreaminess" stemming from the often seen trait in creative people where they simply get so focused on their work that they tend to forget other things. They adore their family- their mothers' loving friendship has been the driving force behind their own worldview, and seeing the intense love between them taught Turquesa that most people are filled with love, and with things about them to love. They probably have a close relationship with their twin, and I imagine that their passion for their various interests leads them towards conversations where one and then the other will wax lyrical about a minor detail, be it in the positioning of cushions on a bed or the exact seasoning to use in a new recipe. Omarosa probably also has to remind Turquesa to eat whenever they get too absorbed in finding the right words to describe a dashing Cerynei's mane.
Their main goals all revolve around their creative outputs- they want to improve both their poetry and design, and they're always thinking about the next project. They tend to enjoy their work immensely, and are largely content with their life, but they always like the idea that they are breathing positivity and love into the world- corny, admittedly, but they see how much it has enriched the lives of their mothers and want to be able to bring that to everyone. They also want people to be able to see the good in themselves- Turquesa has been lucky enough to have an extremely loving and caring upbringing with the Maidens, and is confident in themself, but they see lots of people who have little good to say about themselves, and Turquesa thinks that if they can bring just a little bit of their own confidence to others, they're spending their life doing something worthwhile.

I can be slow to reply in the week due to mon-fri working, but I love to write and I love love love plotting.
Why do YOU want to join?: Oh my gosh, the idea of a herd inspired by the companions, even vaguely, is so cool. I adore the Firefly universe and that contact point for getting to know Soquili lore a bit better has really helped me imagine this character and bring them to life in my head. I'm fairly new to Soquili, but I'd love to get more involved and get into the rping scene, since I'm a huge fan of rping and creating OCs, and I love the sound of this setting too- it seems so dreamy, and if you're gonna use rp as an escape, why not escape to a paradise full of magical colourful horses, right?
