Many of us who like Anime a lot either had a crush for or fell in Love with one the characters from one of their favorite series. So let us know who was the first or latest character that you fell for.

If you follow J-List on social media, you’ll know we really like Twitter, which lets us chat and share ideas and opinions on anime with 175,000 followers at once, I sometimes like to throw out questions to our followers on Twitter and see what responses I get. The other day I asked, “Who was your first anime crush?” and got a ton of replies from followers all over the world. Here are some of the best ones…
1. The Sailor Moon era had a lot of fans crushing at the time, coming up with complex rationales about why their girl was the cutest. Was it the adorable underdog Sailor Mercury or the awkwardly tall Jupiter? Or Mars, who looked so hot in those red high-heeled shoes?
2. Many respondents named Misty/Kasumi from Pokemon. She certainly was cute. Jesse/Musashi also got a lot of fans’ attention.
3. There were lots of old-school fans reporting Lum from Urusei Yatsura, A-Ko from Project A-Ko.
4. The hottest alien teacher in the history of anime, Kazami from Please Teacher.
5. Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. Who could resist crushing on her?
6. For Dragonball fans, fans reported Bulma as their first anime crush.
7. Several reported Kagome from Inuyasha as their first crush. Just look at those eyes.
8. For girls, Sebastian from Black Butler was the hotness.

First anime crush? That's a tough one.
My first anime crush was definitely Neji Hyuga from Naruto (and I'm still bitter about what happened to him in the series) I can't really remember why he became my favorite, probably because of his character development, but I remember seeing an amv about him and even though it's more than 10 years since it was made I still think about it a lot.
Honestly 100% have to say Edward Elric. I love that short, angry lil man.
Then it was Kiba Inuzuka. I was OBSESSED with him when I was 12. rofl

I think my first was probably Inuyasha to be honest sweatdrop I recently got back into Inuyasha and want to do a cosplay of him or Sesshomaru, I also have the necklace he wears and I bought a button of him just yesterday at a con!

Yes I agree it can be hard to pick just one you had a crush on. I like the Shuffle series a lot and all of the characters. Another early series for me that I a crush on a female character was Misty from Pokemon. I've taken Cosplay photos of many Misty Cosplayers over the years. smile A more recent crush that I have on is Ruby Rose from the RWBY series. She is so cute.

This may say how old I am, but Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. My favorite color is red and long hair anime boys were always the hottest to me (that and glasses).
Re:Zero - Rem, She's so cute and I see a lot of Rem cosplayers out their. She's a cool fighter too!!
Violet Evergarden - Violet, I fell for her and her quest to find out what Love is from the beginning of the series.
Tokyo Mew Mew - Ichigo, She reminds me a lot of Usagi from Sailor Moon. Ichigo cares a lot for her friends and helping others. 😀
Vocaloids - Hatsune Miku, I have Loved her from afar and taken plenty of photos of Miku Cosplayers. I recently bought a copy of one of her concerts. It blew me away. I Love singing and to have a computer generated character on stage signing is awesome. I want to go to a concert!!

1. Matt/Yamato from Digimon 2. Ren Tao from Shaman King 3. Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh 4. Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho 5. Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist 6. Itachi from Naruto 7. Ishida from Bleach 8. Sanosuke from from Rouroni Kenshin 9. Piccolo from DBZ 10. Kyoya from Ouran High School Host Club

They are not crushes for me but a couple of my favorite characters from your list is Seta Kaiba and Edward Elric. Seta was a bad guy on the outside but in a pinch you could see some of the inner kindness and friendship that he has with Yugi. I leave the rest to you would be appropriate.
Edward Elric is a character who most people like. The creators of Full Metal Alchemist are pure geniuses'. Winry Rockbell I would consider my crush from the series. When the two of them finally reveal how they feel about each other it made me want to cry.
