Quote:
NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101 PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket
General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!
Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.
Mechanics: Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...
Dice Rolls and What they Mean! 1-4 - Broken Bone 4-8 - Fever 9-12 - Heat Stroke 13-16 - Hypothermia 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so. After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers
Total Results and their Meaning 1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon! 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!
What Repeating Numbers Mean No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all. Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class! If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!
Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!
Bonus Mechanics: For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN... - You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Kane walked into the room with a less than hopeful expression. He wasn't exactly a creeple person, but First Aid was important. His mother insisted he take the class...so there he was. How their influence still had such an affect on him he had no idea, but that mattered little at this point seeing as he was already in the classroom. He settled himself in front of one of the dummies and stayed quiet, occasionally giving the dummy a curious poke to see if it reacted or something. Save himself any surprises.
It didn't, so he sighed and looked up to pay attention to everything Professor Cricket had to say.
And then it was his turn. His dummy was stricken with heat stroke, apparently.

He did what he thought he was supposed to do and managed to fix up his dummy, though because of his inexperience he wound up using way too much of the supplies provided. He saw Professor give him a very firm look while shaking her head and moving along to watch another student. Results 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class! 1

Kane was back for another try at the First Aid class. Last time just didn't feel like he'd done a good enough job and so he wanted to see if he could learn more and do a little bit better of a job this time around.
The dummy he got was a little more challenging, as far as he could tell.Condition 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

Again he managed to fix up the dummy, good enough but...somehow not quite. Luckily he used just the right amount of the provided supplies this time, given Professor Cricket gave him an approving nod as she passed. He cheered internally, which was outwardly expressed in the smallest of small smiles. Results 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all. 2

He wound up with the same dummy the next time he attended the class. He was back again to learn more, deciding sometime between classes that basic first aid would be a very hand thing to know.Condition 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

Maybe because he'd worked on the same condition the last time, but he was able to get a much better result fixing up the dummy during this class. He grinned, big and proud, at his results. Professor Cricket, though, was giving him a scowl because of all the supplies he wound up using.
Oh well. Results 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up! Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

He was back again, hopeful for another good class. He got a different dummy too, and his confidence in being able to fix it was rather high since he did so well the last time.

He tried his best to bandage up the broken bone on the dummy, and while he managed to do exactly that to a passable degree he just...wasn't quite happy with it. He didn't even mind that Professor Cricket didn't look too happy when she passed by.
Ah, the cons of being a perfectionist. Results 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. 3 (bonus mech: +1 to 4d4 roll)

Kane settled into the class, a little further to the back so that the newer people who were less familiar with the information could get a better view and thus pay better attention. He was happy to sit in the back since he knew quite a bit already.
Today's dummy was one with a fever though, and it wasn't a condition he'd ever treated before. At least not on a dummy.

After using way too many supplies he looked on at his decently fixed up dummy, wondering what about it wasn't good enough to him. Results 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class! 1

So he came back, unsettled still by something about all the dummies he'd fixed. There was just something about them that seemed like if he'd done what he'd done to actual creeple, that they wouldn't be fixed at all.

He managed to heal up his dummy with a minimal amount of heating blankets...much to Professor Cricket's annoyance. He wasn't too thrilled at his results either despite the results being alright. His perfectionist side was peeking out again...Results 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! And he was back again, facing another dummy with heat stroke. He knew what to do, he could only hope that the results would be up to his own personal standards.

Perfect!
The boil smiled proudly at his now alive (so to speak) and well dummy. Professor Cricket passed by again with an incredibly disapproving look, and he glanced around at all the used supplies, most of which were actually wasted.
"Whatever...I fixed it great this time," he muttered as he started cleaning up his station. Results 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up! Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty!
