Jace grew up in London. He started his education being homeschooled after an incident occurred when he had begun to exhibit his powers. Jace was kept away from people except for family. His father was a doctor and his mother was a housewife. He hardly saw his father but is mother spent a lot of time teaching him. He was very driven to do well in his studies wanting to be the best he could and to make his father proud. Spending most of his time in his home he had grown an interest in serial killers after reading about the various killers that were famous in Britain. He suffered nightmares and for a very long time was afraid of the dark due to struggling to control his power. He saw various psychiatrists that helped him learn to embrace his power and gain control rather then fear it thus his fear of the dark became a love for it. With his interest in serial killers and his father's background he had soon developed a yearning to solve crimes like those he had read about. When he was 16 and had a good enough control of his abilities he was able to go to an actual school but struggled a bit to make friends having not had much interaction with those his own age but he didn't mind too much though he did often yearn for a companion. He hopes that things will be different at this new school. He does worry that if he allows himself to get angry or upset that he will lose control of his abilities. He always makes sure to time himself when using is abilities because he had learned over the years that his behavior and mentality becomes affected by the darkness if he uses it for an extended amount of time.
