There have been a ton of Pern shops over the ages. While this definitely proves there's a niche for the Dragonriders of Pern, this also means a lot of characters have been created and forgotten, or are now unused. While we obviously want players to make new characters and persona's for this shop, we also know that sometime there are beloved characters that never had a chance to shine.
If you're interested in transferring some of your old Pern dragons than this is the place to do it!
The Rules
You may transfer as many dragons as you like, provided they came from past Gaia B/C shops. You may only recieve one gold no matter how many you may have Impressed. If you want to transfer more golds you'll need to wait until we change the rules or transfer them as greens. Your transfers must stay together. If you transfer over X'yz and Abcdeth then their names and partnership must remain. If you want X'yz to get a new dragon then don't transfer him and wait until you win a Freebie or turn him into a Candidate. Please post the dragons uncert and cert if you have it. Please also post who they have Impressed. While our dragons are not RP Required, if you wish to RP them, you will have to get a character approved in the shop. We need to make sure they fit in this Weyr. Non-Canon colors ARE allowed to be transferred, but you must post your traditional color preferences. Whites will be converted as whites. No golds. Golds can be transferred as golds, but you can only get one gold in this shop transferred. If you want more you'll need to win or Impress them. All transfers must be from Gaia B/C shops. No transferring art from off-line shops or Pern RPs in other forums of Gaia. Transfers will only be given out as adults. Hatchlings and Weyrling transfers will automatically placed on adult lines and the characters assumed to have successfully graduated weyrling training. Colorists will pick up what they can when they can. There might be delays,and it isn't first-come first-serve, but more like what inspires. We will get to all of them, but it might take time. Transfers are not guaranteed to match 100%. While we will try to match as best we are able, artistic interpretation (or not being able to see details/markings), and colorist skill, might mean your dragon deviates from the original design. Colorists will strike off the names of transfers they're working on, and will PM the owner when complete. Once again, have patience. Non-canon colors can't be turned into white unless it IS a white. Sorry! These transfers are free..but tips are appreciated!
