Professor Winter
Costumes were not Bastion's forte. He settled on something simple, using his jewelcrafting to create an egyptian prince look that forced him to only shop for one real item; the headpiece, a white snakelike creation. He wrapped his torso in a cloth and susses himself up in jewelry, and thought himself quite the fetching egyptian god, if he said so himself.
Then he decided to visit the professors, as it was advertised they were opening their doors for a friendly visit. When he entered Professor Winter's office, he immediately began to try and greet her with a pleasant voice, but was asked for a roar. He was thrown by the request, and his roar was pitiful. Still, he received a piece of candy for his efforts.
How sweet!

Professor Wagner
The corn maze was a nice touch, and Bastion was pleased to see someone at the end of it. He introduced himself cordially, and was instructed to pick one of the cups on the desk. He chose the second cup, and underneath he found the reaper symbol, and no prize.
"Alas," He laughed. "Luck is not my forte!"

Professors Selene and Argyle
His egyptian costume was well received by the next professor, the egyptian snake herself admiring all of his jewelry closely. He could feel the judgemental eyes of the man behind the desk, watching carefully as his jewelry was snakehandled so delicately.
In the end, the woman asked Bastion for a fact about the human world. What a silly question! The horsemen knew much about their enemy, and he was happy to tell her something he'd learned. "Humans are more resilient than most claim them to be. If you stab them, it must be in certain parts of the body, or else they will live just fine. Most can go on to lead full lives despite being attacked!"
She did not recognize that he was saying this as a warning, and not a happy fact. She showered him in candy for his efforts to keep human beings alive, and before he could correct her, he was promptly shown out by the man in the suit.

Professor Rengath
The next professor, a stately looking gentleman with a cold demeanor, demanded he act the part of his costume. Bastion, ever eager to please, cleared his throat and straightened up. He did his best impression of Anubis, giving a stark speech about the afterlife.
Apparently, he was quite good at acting. He received three candies for his efforts - being paid in candy would not normally seem a worthy investment, but Bastion was honestly getting into the spirit of this holiday. This was fun!

Professor Pyre
The office had a true spooky air to it, and Bastion appreciated the chill he felt for walking in. He stepped up to the guardian, and affixed his gaze on the tail. Taking candy would be unwise, as he was sure that tail would be embedded in his hand within seconds. So, how to convince the little guardian that he was worthy?
He took so long trying to come up with a reason, that the creature grew bored and pitied him with one piece of candy to make him stop staring. Success!

Professor Kenner
Bastion laughed when he was told that his candy would be earned here simply by finding it. A hunt, then! He crept around the office stealthily, until he found a remarkable looking device. A musical intrument, surely? Inside he was sure he could almost see something caught...
So he blew into the vuvuzela horn, and a horrifying sound emerged - along with three candies! He scurried to catch them, and leave as quickly as possible - that was no musical instrument, that was a torture device.

Professor Darcy
Why, this room reminded him of that splendid course he had just taken earlier! All of the shadows made it impossible to see how to get to the candy, so Bastion backed up a few steps, and slid in quietly. When he stopped, he stood to find himself right in front of the candy - and was rewarded with an allowance of four candies to be taken! He makes sure to let the professor know that his course is outstanding fun, before leaving.
Today was turning out to be a fine day!
