 Vallerie entered the greenhouse, like she did everyday after school. She stayed until the setting sun. She went to the left and started filling pots with soil and flower seeds.

Vallerie didn't hear them come in but she used a bit too much force on something and dirt ended up flying up in the air, and landed right in Alois' head. She turned around and saw where it landed, "Oh my, I'm so sorry about that." she went up to them and handed her a handkerchief, "What brings you by?" she asked after the mess was cleaned up.

The third son of the Ootori family had made his way to the greenhouses, black notebook tucked under one arm, and managed to stop just as the soil arced through the air and came down in a crumbling shower. He paused, waiting patiently as things were cleaned up; after all, it would not do to be rude and interrupt at this moment. "When you have a moment, Vallerie-san," he said politely, when it looked as if she had a break in her work. He nodded once, in quiet greeting, to the other young man.

After Vallerie finished cleaning up and apologizing, she went over to Kyoya, "What brings you here? Are you finally ready to try some edible flowers?" she smiled at him. That probably wasn't the case but every time he came down here for some reason or another she had to ask.

Rynn01 After Vallerie finished cleaning up and apologizing, she went over to Kyoya, "What brings you here? Are you finally ready to try some edible flowers?" she smiled at him. That probably wasn't the case but every time he came down here for some reason or another she had to ask. Kyouya chuckled softly. It had been a small joke of theirs. He actually had no objection to the idea of edible flowers, but aside from nasturtiums, they weren't things he generally chose to eat plain. "Maybe later," he demurred slightly. "Actually, I'd come to see about shifting over to some fall color for the bouquets, if you've got anything in bloom that you'd recommend."

Vallerie thought for a moment, "I've got some tiger lilies, sunflowers, marigolds, dahlia, yellow roses, columbines and a few more. The japanese arisaema isn't in bloom yet." she motioned for him to follow. She brought him to the part of the greenhouse where each and every kind of flower was here, except for a handful that she hadn't planted yet. Her budget limits her seed purchase, "Look around tell me what you like. I can arrange them for you too." the place was filled with all kinds of butterflies, ladybugs and all sorts of insects.

"Very pretty." Kyouya followed her, observing with a detached, clinical air. The air in the greenhouse was warm and full of earthy scent; he couldn't decide if he liked it or if it felt just a little too damp and ... well ... dirty ... for him. The hazards of growing up around hospitals, perhaps. "The tiger lilies and columbines would make a striking combination, don't you think?" The deep purple of the columbines would set off the shocking orange of the tiger lilies to good advantage, smoothed by the interspersing greenery. He seemed to mull the other flowers over. "We never can go without roses, though. Those are a requirement. Preferably in as many shades of autumnal colors as you can manage." He'd seen roses that ranged from the purest whites through yellow, orange, red, deepening to nearly chocolate browns; any of those shades would do. "We can wait on the arisaema; I think that would be ideal if we decided to do a traditional tea ceremony, but we've no plans for that at the moment. Keep me posted on when they'll be nearing their finest, and perhaps we can work something out then."

They should be at their peak in about..." she looked very closely at the ones around her, "Hmm..I'd day a week." she spotted a purple rose that was already in bloom. She grabbed the clippers and cut it, making it have a long stem. She gave it to Kyoya, "I've got an early bloomer. Take this as a thank you for visiting." "Ah, thank you." Kyouya took the rose in careful fingers, avoiding the thorns. "A week should be perfect; I'll be sure to inform you of the exact date in a day or two. Would you be interested in attending? I can ensure your name is on the reservatiion list immediately." He tapped the notebook tucked under his arm. "Oh, and should I expect the billing for the flowers as usual? You can send it to the host club's main email address; I handle most of that."

"I'm sure sure. I've never really been interested in attending your club before." Vallerie thought about it while looking at her flowers. She didn't know why girls liked it so much. She made a decision, "Okay, I'll go. And I'll email the price within a week, before I send the delivery." "Would you mind if I sat next to you? I mean you are the only 'host' that I've talked to and know."

"That sounds perfect, thank you. And it would be my pleasure." Kyouya bowed to her politely, the hand holding the rose moving to touch his chest as he did so. "I look forward to seeing you there." He turned to depart, shifting the notebook to the crook of the other arm. "Have a pleasant afternoon, Miss Vallerie," he said lightly, with a casual wave over his shoulder as he went.

It'll make your potted plants thrive."

It'll make your potted plants thrive." He glanced back over his shoulder, hand on the doorknob. "There aren't any potted plants in the music room. We generally just use cut flowers, alhough I suppose we could consider adding some at some point. Thank you for the offer; I'll keep it in mind."
