Strawberry bite her lip and tried once more to focus on her reading. Shakespeare. He wasn't her fondest classic writer, but he did respect his work. But right now, as she waited in the middle of the track course for Danni, she couldn't focus enough to care about the obviously flawed love of Romeo and Juliet. The blonde closed her book with a sigh and fell back onto the grass, green eyes tracing the large clouds in the sky. He wouldn't tell her to meet him here and not show......right? Strawberry held her hand above her head and examined the Batman band aids on her fingers. He could still feel the touch of his fingers as he tended to her cuts. With a groan she let her arms fall over her eyes.

Daniel grunted as he carried his target on his back, his bow and quiver in a bag, which he was dragging along with great displeasure. Looking out onto the field, he didn't see anyone but noticed a small head of blonde hair and grinned. She'd come. That made him considerably happy, and he quickened his pace, setting the target up a ways away from her before walking over with his bag. "Hey, pretty woman."

Strawberry sat up, a grin on her lips and color in her cheeks. They were friends, it was alright for him to call her beautiful. Friends did that.
"Get gorgeous." She called back cheekily, brushing some stay grass from her yellow uniform. "So, why have you drug me our here?" She added, the smile never faltering to show she was teasing him.

Daniel acted shocked, falling over and closing his eyes. "Oh, my only love doesn't know why I brought her here! And I even brought my equipment!" He laughed, looking over at Strawberry, and gesturing at the bag. "Wear whatever's in there and bring my bow and quiver. You're shooting today. There should be a pair of gloves and wrist guards, and I brought some shorts and a t-shirt of mine if you wanted to wear that, in case you get sweaty." He smiled softly at her.

Strawberry giggled at his declaration. He was obviously teasing. Of course he was.
"Well alright, I guess I can try again even though I still have the wounds from last time." The blonde teased, accepting the bag. She was thankful for the extra clothes, she didn't fancy shooting a bow in her uniform.
Quick as lightening Strawberry dashed off to the equipment building to change and store her dress in his bag. She even took a few minutes to braid her long hair to keep it out of the way. Now dressed in the proper wear (minus shoes) she jogged back out to him. His clothes were just a big snug because of her curves, but they fit fine otherwise.
"Alright, how do I look?" She joked, twirling for him as he dropped his bag.

(God this Nyquil is already affecting me. I'm getting loopy/hyper af. xD I hate being sick.)
Daniel glanced over and blushed slightly. His clothes looked good on her. At least, he thought so. He nodded and shifted to sit up, grabbing his quiver and bow, slipping the quiver over her and adjusting it accordingly. He then handed the bow to her. "You remember how I hope?"

Strawberry laughed and rolled her eyes as she held the bow as he had showed her and notched an arrow. "I may be blonde but I'm not blonde." She teased.
"So, just aim and shoot?" She asked, nodding at the target.

Daniel nodded, lying back on his hands as he watched her. "Don't forget to account for the breezes that roll through, and the distance." He purred, rolling to lie on his stomach. "Let's see how you do..~"

[Well, I'm not sure etc. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday so I'll find out then.]
Strawberry shook her head and pulled the string back until it rested against her cheek. She aimed carefully, took a deep breath and let the arrow fly. It connected with a thunk on the second ring, more towards the bottom than she had planned on.
"Hmm." She said thoughtfully, worrying her bottom lip as she notched another arrow. It was much different than shooting a gun.

Daniel nodded quietly, chuckling. She wasn't a bad shot, but her aim could use a bit more work. He sighed and rolled on his side to watch her posture. "Aim higher, and try straightening up a bit more." He tapped at her legs lightly, grinning.

Strawberry blushed as his fingers brushes her leg and she straightened up a bit more, pulling her shoulders back and aiming a bit higher. Danni was taller than her after all and it was his target. She pulled back the string, took a deep breath, aimed, and released the arrow along with her breath. It hit right below the bulls eye.
"You're shitting me." The blonde breathed before blushing beet red. Sorry for my language." She said quickly, her green eyes darting toward the archer.

Daniel, in fact, was a foot higher than her, but never mind that. (Lol--) He smiled softly at her and shrugged. "It's fine. Try again. You're doing better already." He withdrew his hand to lick a finger and test for wind direction and speed. "Southwest, under five... Shouldn't be troublesome," he murmured to himself.

Strawberry blushed and turned back to the target, raising the bow just a bit higher and taking aim. She could hear him picking at the grass to her right and wondered if watching her shoot was boring. With a shake of her head she pushed her thoughts away and focused on the target.
Taking a breath she pulled back on the string, took a deep breath and released. It hit dead center.
"Oh my gosh, I did it!" The blonde breathed, jumping up and down excitedly.
