I thought it would be fun to brag about our collections. Even if it's just all the games it's fun to see what's out there!

Games:
A Link to the Past - SNES copy
Link's Awakening - Gameboy copy
Ocarina of Time - first version I think!
Oracle of Ages
Oracle of Seasons
Zelda Collector's Edition - includes the original Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and a Wind Waker demo
Four Swords Adventure
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess - Gamecube copy
Skyward Sword
Spirit Tracks
Phantom Hourglass (the DS games aren't technically mine, they belong to my sister)

Books & Manga
Hyrule Historia
Ocarina of Time - Part 1 and Part 2
A Link to the Past
Majora's Mask
Oracle of Ages
Four Swords - Part 1 and Part 2
Minish Cap

Others
Skyward Poster - one official, one unofficial
Ocarina of Time - unofficial
Pillow - basically this picture on a small pillow
Triforce Backpack
Triforce Wallet
Sword and Shield set

And there we go. Technically, we kinda stole the collector's edition from my aunt but we always steal games from each other.

Oh wow, I love Zora link. That was my favourite mask and the figure doesn't disappoint at all.

You said something about that figure being repaired though?

Thank you! He's my favorite too, and that was my favorite mask as well!

Well, actually, that's my other as I currently own too, his previous owner
unfortunately didn't take good care of him and his right leg is broken off and
there's nasty glue markings on his elbows and neck. The one on display
is in very good condition though.

I see. Maybe a kid got to him or something. D: It kind of reminds me of when my cousins decided it was fun to take their OoT Link and Epona figures and throw them into the microwave. Link was also missing his right leg too and his face is kind of melted... eugh. Kids do stupid things with their toys. whee

If that's the case, that's really irritating! DX
Aww, I know that figure, I was always thought the sculpt was a bit goofy
looking but it was a cute little set. They certainly do, ironic how some
of the stuff they treated like crap are now worshiped by collectors. XD

Ah, yeah they weren't my favourite figures either but it's not like I really now what the unmelted face looks like. I think their Epona might have been paved over. Such a tragic tale for figures.

Just like the original boxes for the NES and SNES games. They can be pretty expensive pieces of cardboard and no one would have thought to keep them.

Seriously? Ugh! They're Zelda merchandise, treat them with respect!!! DX

Oh, right? I know the complete box set for Majora's Mask is pretty pricey
now too, kinda makes you wanna build a time machine and buy ten of them
when they were available.

I bet they do regret doing that but at the same time, they were kids that didn't understand value.

I know! I would like good SNES game that don't cost $50 just for the game. We bought all of our games used, so it's not like we have any boxes to speak of. D: Sometimes I get lucky and find good games for like $10 but then they look like they been mauled by a cat.

I couldn't agree more, it's hard to be a Nintendo collector if you didn't grow
up when the merchandise was directly available, in that case you're really
lucky, I always envied James Rolfe, he pretty much owns every SNES
cartridge known to man along with every issue of Nintendo Power.

They're really going that high? Wow! That's more expensive than some of
the newer games, but then the games are becoming rarer along with
the consoles, and a lot of people are talking how their NES/SNES are
yellowing due to age which is a shame. D:
Woah, I'm looking some of the games up on shopping! Some of them
are going for almost $100!! Jeeze, and it was a game that apparently was
awful too. xD

That collection wouldn't fit in my house, that's for sure. I would kill just to have one of the Megaman games. I'm sure that's pricey for a decent sticker.

My SNES seems fine though. The only things that didn't seem to age well are the actual batteries inside the SNES games. Our copy of Donkey Kong Country could only save a file once. You only had one try, maybe two tries, to beat the game if you were lucky.

It is a little ridiculous - the bad games probably didn't have many copies, so it's more of a bragging right than anything else at that point. I doubt anyone would actually play those games. They just like the same they had them.

Oh my, the Megaman cartridges are expensive! DX
I do like how on the cover art he first looks realistic and grown up but steadily
becomes more and more small and cartoonish looking with each sequel.

Only one save file? Yeesh, I remember playing that on Gameboy and I died
probably every three minutes, that would be a nightmare!

Haha, it's like the Nintendo World Championships cartridge that are worth
thousands today, especially the gold one.
A few months ago, someone bought one for over $100,000.
People would never use it, they'd just put it on display. It's that mix of
pride, nostalgia, and OCD that makes them want it so much.

Luckily, it didn't seem to happen to my copy of A Link to the Past. That's not a game to do in one or two sittings. You can change the battery but I would rather just buy a new one at that point. D:

I heard of that game. There's like, less than 30 of the gold ones or something like that?
