I am quite sure at least a few people in this guild have heard of the World of Darkness series of games. If so I'd like to ask whether you prefer Old or New and which line. Explanations as to why are appreciated but not required.
For me I prefer the New World Changeling line. I prefer the idea of being someone who was warped and driven insane by forces they can't hope to understand (the true fey.) This idea, topped off with the fact that they aren't much more powerful than mortals along with said forces wanting them back forces a more unified front. Oh, and said insanity is great for drama, black comedy, and even tragedy.

I've heard of it, and was going to play it once. But it never took off as far as I can remember. I believe it was old, so i'm not biased one way or another x3

He didn't say he was running anything just asking opinions. I haven't played enough of either to form an opinion. I've played Werewolf: The Apocalypse and a brief of Hunters: The Vigil.

My RL group runs a cross-over WOD game and its awesome and we need to do it more but the our Storyteller(the one with the books basically) doesn't like running as the dedicated GM. Its just a wonderful thing when a Vampire, three Werewolves, two Mages and an Angel of mercy all gather together in a bar/tavern run by a Geist of Starvation.

Wow, since nWOD kinda gives more room to mix and match anyway? Unfortunately I wasn't initially planning to start a game (doesn't mean I won't) but do keep in mind the only setting I as a player am equipped to run is an nWOD Changeling game. I swear it doesn't have anything to do with RPer favoritism gonk .
