I credit Wonder Girls with being my first Korean artist. Surfing a certain popular anime site’s forum I came across a topic asking about everyone’s favorite Asian female rapper. 유빈 keep coming up as a favorite so I looked them up.

Technically it should have probably been someone like BoA or 윤하 or even Loveholic. However I didn’t know when I first heard these artist(s) that they were Korean. They were singing in Japanese after all. And, in the case of Loveholic I knew the song wasn’t in Japanese but I didn’t know it was Korean.

I believe it was Big Bang, though at the beginning I didn't know Big Bang was a k boy group cause it was a song in Audition sweatdrop

2ne1 and wonder girls loved them ever since then! Ive liked other groups but not anymore.

Boa was the first k-pop artist I listened to, but at the time I didn't know she was a k-pop artist! I stumbled across her English album and fell in love with it.

My first k-pop artist in which I knew they were Korean was SNSD. I fell in love with them and not long after that I learned Boa was from the same company.

My very first k-pop group was SHINee! A friend showed me Replay after she found out I listened to Japanese music. I was interested in k-pop for a few months after and got interested in 2ne1 and Big Bang, but then I faded out of it for a long time.

It wasn't until EXO debuted that I was immersed back into the k-pop scene and now I haven't left! <3
