I'm glad this guild is here so I can ask questions without looking uninformed and stupid... (I probably look that way here too... you're all just okay with it.) whee
Anyway, I have a couple questions about Dumpster Dive:
1. How often can you do it? I played once, and then when I tried to go again it says the guy looks crazy or something and to try later. How long is "later?" Does this just mean you can do it once a day? Or does it reset before then?
2. Do you ever get really good stuff from Dumpster Dive? Does anyone know what the best things anyone has ever gotten are and how likely you are to find those such things?

Dumpster Dive is once every five minutes, and relies on user donations, so getting good stuff is literally 100% chance
I heard that someone got a CoCo Kitty Plushie from it once, but most of the time, people toss in junk they can't get to sell in the MP, and that's what you're most likely to get most of the time

There are also garbage items there, not donated by users, which can be helpful to those making caches.

Luna Faris Once every five minutes!? I should dumpster dive more often then. yes. just keep in kind that if you're not into Alchemy, you're gonna get a lot of junk, but if you collect it long enough, you can sell it for a halfway decent price in the MP

I found a christmas 2k12 poinsettia coat. biggrin that's pretty good, right? Not a huge million-gold worth item, but better than paper.

Luna Faris I found a christmas 2k12 poinsettia coat. biggrin that's pretty good, right? Not a huge million-gold worth item, but better than paper. I generally get flowers, bugs, inks and trash, but yes, that's a generally good for Dumpster Dive.
