So I've been using Sai for my speed-painting but I see a lot of people use Photoshop for Semi-realistic stuff so Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with the tools that could give me their opinion.

I recently have fallen in love with MMO and concept art for video games and I'm thinking that might be something I wanna get into a bit in college and thats what influenced my style here~

nice : ) I like the way you did the hair!

I use photoshop on a regular basis at work, and all of my drawings and work is done on photoshop as well. If you need any help with the tools in the program I can definitely help out, just need to ask what you'd like to know : )

For concept art, if you think this is something you'd really like to get into, I recommend taking lots of illustration courses. I think speed painting course would be good as well depending on how much time it takes you to speed paint already, and lots of architectural and civilization course. Concept artist have a strong background in illustration and have a load of resource's and knowledge to be able to combined different art styles, and work with different environments on a whim. So if you can get a solid base in this you'd be off to a good start.

Thans so much for the feedback! I'm actually going to college for animation but now I'm pretty positive my back-up plan is illustration. This has been a huge help to me I think taking an extra year for extra courses like I am is gunna help me a long a lot and I think I'm gunna practice this style and continue it~

Yea be sure to try to explore and master as many different styles as possible as well. Because there often asked to do do different styles for different projects, same for illustration as a job. Animation courses will really be helpfull because you'll learn to draw well structured bodies, keeping in mind how they'll move while inventing your characters, which is an essential for a concept artist. Sounds like your on the right path : ) keep it up and good luck!
