Hi whee
I posted in the introduction thread but I figured I'd make a thread, too, so maybe I can chat a bit with you all. c:
I'm Shroomie, but you can call me that or Ash. I've been on Gaia since November of 2009, this being my newest account. I spend most of my time with video games and sports. I play lacrosse, football, soccer, track, volleyball, and I enjoy swimming. Though, I only play lacrosse as a team.
Errmm I also enjoy '80s movies! In fact, Weird Science is my favorite movie of all time. C: I enjoy classics as well such as The Wizard of Oz.
As for music I like k-pop, oldies, blues, indie, pop punk, metal, alternative, techno, opera...okay, anything but country and rap, really. Cx
OH! Anime! I adore Dead Leaves, Gurren Lagann, Mirai Nikki, One Piece, Spirited Away, Legend of Korra, The Last Airbender, and others. C:

ll shroomie ll Nice to meet you, too! [: Of the anime you listed, Gurren Lagann, Mirai Nikki, One Piece, and Spirited Away are all on my favorites list as well. One Piece is the one long-running, on-going anime I keep up with (now that both Bleach and Gintama are ended). I've never seen Dead Leaves, but I did start on the Avatar series. They were too much for me to catch up on though. I don't know anything about K-pop but I do listen to J-pop, along with many other eclectic genres, primarily blues and rock. I used to work on a classic rock station in the Keys, and I used to date a blues diva in Chicago.

Ned-san Of the anime you listed, Gurren Lagann, Mirai Nikki, One Piece, and Spirited Away are all on my favorites list as well. One Piece is the one long-running, on-going anime I keep up with (now that both Bleach and Gintama are ended). I've never seen Dead Leaves, but I did start on the Avatar series. [x Yup, that counts, lol. smile Bleach was really good up until the end of the Aizen-sama arc, then went downhill from there till its expected demise. There was also a "Bounts" (vampires) arc in between which was just a filler and not part of the manga. The rest of the series besides the last Fullbringers arc and the Bounts filler arc make up the meat of the Bleach story. You can just skip through those other two arcs. wink
