my best friend has a crush one me we have been best friends for almost 7 years. I just don't like him like that

lol, deleted my post. sorry 'bout that. ;D But um, my best friend has always had the hugest crush on me, and I just sorta friend zoned him for a while. And recently I found out that I really like him too, and now every weekend we hang out and such, and when he drives me home, we hold hands and stuff. I dunno, it's cute:3

I know the feeling, my friend has had a crush on me since um 03? but I just can't seem to get that deep into a relationship yet. Then she gets married and still tells me she has a crush on me even so, so it's really awkward, because I'm friends with the husband now too through her so it's like... "FUUUUU..." and they're going through stuff right now and I just don't want to be in the middle of it and cause a bigger issue so I just completely stay out of it which may seem selfish on my end but I'd rather stay friends with everyone then cause a big issue and have them both hate me *shrug*

His parents want us to date so badly, because his parents were and still are best friends and think that "You should marry your best friend", so they've been trying to hook us up for a few years now.

Yeesh, when I crush, I just start to wonder about that person, like what is she doing now and stuff, oh yeah, and I feel very self-conscious.

lol yeah, also the parents don't really care for the husband but for some reason they don't mind me... *shrug* so pretty much the same thing her parents wouldn't really care if I dated her if things were to go bad with her husband and they did officially split, but yeah... I'd rather focus on getting a degree first then a steady job, then possibly a relationship neutral see too many people my age get into debt and have many kids and go through divorces here, kind of sad, so it's just not my thing...
