For the people with dirty minds: It's not in the way you're thinking eek
Me and my ex-best friend got into a long series of fights (arguements) about almost everything. That lasted a few months before he broke off our friendship. There's a long, boring story to this, that ends up with me in a fist fight with his cousin and his cousin's sister telling me off for fighting her brother (don't ask how, idk really).
ANYWAY, we eventually got along, but barely talking in school. Finally, I decide to call him, and try to patch things up between us, and become friend's again. His answer to pretty much everything was "idk".
What does this have to do with his mom? Well she texted me and invited me to his birthday party later this month. I responded with "if it's ok with him, I'll go". She sent back this: "He doesnt get a say in it, I want you to go and I want you two to be friends again."
Knowing that his cousins were probably going to be there I asked her if they were gonna be there. She said that "Nothing will happen, and I won't let it. If nothing else, I'll meet with them another day and it can be just you."

Ego sum Alucinatio She's trying very hard. I'm glad she saw past your fight. Funny story with that. I called her a few months after the fight to apologize to her about fighting her nephew. She said that I didn't have to because "it was probably mostly his fault", which is the truth. And I have been wanting to patch things up for a while now, he's just kinda stubbourn, and hard to talk to sometimes. The only person I will have to try to avoid at the party is the girl that told me off. She probably still hates me. Now that I think about it...his whole family knows what happened....gonna be awkward....and fun...hopefully.

ChanJane Wow, she sounds like a really sweet person. And she obviously knows how important your friendship is to her son! She is very sweet smile . Honestly though, we were great friends he doesn't seem to want our friendship back as much as I do. Our friendship meant a lot more to me than it did to him, I think. But if I bring up some of our best memories, I think that might help a bit.

I'll admit, I thought it was one of those Stacy's Mom things. Haha.
Maybe at the party, you two can talk and try to rekindle your friendship.

I wish my ex-best friend's mom had been that awesome...her parents actually encouraged her not to be my friend BC I wasn't a Christian like them...
