Alright heres the deal, everywhere I go on gaia I find Avi art, theres a huge market for it on this site if your good, and you can become rich fast, but what about those of who suck at drawing but are awesome at writing? Theres no money to be made for us, hell even cute people on this site get paid to make SIGNS! Thats why I am starting this, basically I ask for 10k and I will write a short poem about your avi, you can request it to be however you want, obscene? ok I can do that, cute? fine, naughty? alright etc... I want to see a rise for writers, so we can exploit the gaia economy as much as the cute people and artsy types.

I used to be in a guild that was strictly designed around trying to make gold off writing, and trust me when I say this, its an impossible task. The guild and I spent literal years trying to figure out a way to get people on this site to pay for writers, but it just can't be done. Maybe you would have more luck for more personal uses like poetry for individuals of their avi, but there's just too many people who enjoy writing on this site to attract any sort of business. Selling art is one thing, not everyone can learn to be a good artist or even has the potential locked away, but everyone here can (and usually does) learn to be good with words and wit.
My advice to you, is hoarding. Big expensive items that inflate relatively quick and sell really easy. I can make more gold that way with less time invested then any artist can; even the ones who sell their art for millions of gold or for items of the same ridiculous value (although they usually sell extremely awesome art that's worth every coin). Here is what changed my gaian life for the better. Stalk this guide every day, follow his knowledge, and you will become stinking rich. If you can't afford investing into those methods, there's another guide for making gold linked in the first thread I provided. Once you start hoarding, then selling your hoards for profit, it just snowballs from there, giving you an unlimited supply of gold. You'll have so much gold, you could give 1k to every member you see and still have more then you'll what to do with by the end of the day.

Booty Grabbing is a great way of making gold. 20,000 to 30,000 gold to start with and more when you are really good about it.
Plus I have not heard of that guild since 2004 are they still around?
