For those of you that don't know what CISPA is, it's another version of SOPA. Except they made final changes to make it worse, and then GOT IT PASSED. Today. We're all royally screwed. Happy 1984, everyone. Down with Big Brother.

Not saying we aren't screwed, but the CISPA isn't in effect right now. If it just got passed in the House, it hasn't made it to the Senate yet. They have to pass the exact same version, and then the president has to sign it (though Obama seems to be perfectly okay with this s**t, so I don't see him vetoing it).

Actually Obama said he will veto if it passes. ;3 Somebody out there is looking out for us!

Did he? I saw that his administration mentioned that they would recommend he veto it, but I wasn't sure if he conceded to that or not.
Well, then let's just hope that the House and Senate don't have enough votes to overrule the veto.
