They were sent from another world to perform the task of making peace with the human beings.

The Elementals were among us.

They were to live among the humans in order to learn about the ways that humans kept their peace amongst each other, especially with how they were of different races. The Elementals were tired of fighting against their brothers and sisters of opposite Elements and knew that the humans, though fragile they were, had learned to be civil towards one another.

The Fire Elementals sent their prince to live as a human for an entire summer.
The Water Elementals sent their princess to live as a human for an entire summer.

That's when they met and boy did they hate each other at first. They were to work with one another at a cafe, working as waitress and waiter. Not only that, but they were so beautiful together that people began to comment about how cute of a couple that they would make. Alas, he tried his best to ignore her and she did also attempted the same blight.
This could only bring them closer as the days began to pass.
