Clue Contest Bidding Thread!
WHAT IS CLUE?
Clue is a board game, video game, book, and movie. It's premise is that guests
have been invited to Mr. Body's house, and no one knows each other, or why
they have all come. Mr. Body is found dead in the middle of the dinner party,
and each of the guests has a motive to kill him. The dinner guests have to all
try to guess which of them killed Mr. Body, where he was killed, and what he
was killed with before the police arrive and arrest them all.
There are six characters: Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Proffessor Plum,
Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard and Mrs. Peacock.
Contest Premise:
It will be like a game of clue, though without the board or the need for dice.
Each character will have a turn to guess who murdered Mr. Body, with what,
and where. However, having only six characters means that there can only
be six contestants.
To participate in this contest, we must first hold bidding for the characters to
sort out exactly which member of BURN will get to be each character.
So what is the prize?
The prize will be the total amount that has been bid for all of the characters.
All trades with bidding amounts will be sent to me, and the grand prize will
be given out to the winner. The minimum prize in this pool will be
approximately 6,000g.
How will the bidding work?
There will be a time limit on each character, so that everyone can get a
chance to bid. The bid increment minimum is 100g. The minimum starting
bid for a character will be opened up at 1,000g.
If absolutely no one bids on a character when the time runs out, I will
take that character as an NPC and add my own 1,000g to the pot. However,
if there are two(+) characters that have not been bid on when this is all over, I
will hold another bidding for those two(+) chracters. If they are once again not
bid on, all characters that have not been bid on will become NPCs and the
contest will at last begin.
Anything else?
• There will only be ONE character per member.
• Anyone found using a mule account as well as their
regular account will not be eligible for the prize, but
may continue playing.
• Any member that leaves the contest will not get a refund,
and their character will become an NPC.
• In the event that so many people leave that only one
non-NPC character if left, that person will automatically
recieve the prize, but may continue playing if they wish.
