Breast size varies a lot from woman to woman, and the average size even varies a lot from country to country. But the overall average is usually said to be around a 36C.

The average is a "big" B to a "small" C.
I forgot where I got that information but I've read it on multiple sites.

Not His Enemy I had heard somewhere, like,on TV or something, that girls generally have B-cups.Is it really a C-cup?? Most sources seem to say that the world average is now a C cup and slowly increasing. But just because something is the average, that doesn't mean it's the most common. For example, if 10 women have the cup sizes of A, B, B, B, C, C, D, D, DD, DD, then the average of those 10 women would be a C even though more women in the group wore Bs. And it's a difficult thing to study. I mean, we can't measure every woman in the world. So these averages are usually based on bra sales. The problem is a lot of women actually wear the wrong size, a lot of women stuff their bra, a lot of women don't wear bras, some women make their own bras, a lot of stores might not report or be asked to report their size sales, etc. And not all bra manufacturers use the exact same sizes. A women might be a B in one brand of bra and a C in another brand. Clothing manufacturers even tweak sizes sometimes to fit current fads and body shapes. So it's difficult to say with absolute certainty. But considering that obesity and hormone pollution are on the rise, they are probably right about the average breast size slowly increasing.

I think it entirely depends. Yeah the average is probably around the B to C area, cause a lot of the girls in my year have that, usually larger. I'm somewhere at the bottom of A though razz still, they fit me. If I had bigger ones that'd look really weird. Also, it's 'women', not 'chicks'. Chicks have feathers, not breasts.

Alright.Well, that makes sense.and the thing about manufacturers tweaking sizes?I totally get that. For the most part,I wear 36C,but at a certain store where the cups are always a little bigger,so I'm a 36 or 34B.And it's like how you always have to try clothes on before you buy them, even though it's your correct size, just in case it doesn't fit right, right?

I find C cup hard to believe as the average with how many women of oriental decent there are--I'm looking at you China with your 1/3 of the world population. Asian women can have big boobs, but certainly not many of them. Most have A to B cups. But you have to look at the sizing for bras as well in that different countries have different sizes. Japan for example--its C is more like a B. Western and Eastern sizings are too different so unless this statistic took that into account, I don't believe it. There are also women that wear different sizes. I know of someone who wears both a 34A and a 32B and say they both fit her fine. I think the average is a B. C cups follow very very closely behind. I find C cup being a true average easier to believe in western culture but that's only because of our diets (though I still think B to be average here). There's a lot of people that if they were a average weight, their boobs would be smaller. So, there's that to take into account as well in that extra adipose tissue affects natural boob size.

One might also have to take into account that some women get breast implants and therefore have to wear bigger bras. So it depends if you are including increased and natural breasts, or just natural breasts.

I for example weigh around 155 to 160, I am 5'3 1/2", and have the size of DD's to DDD's but I am at a health weight. If you are going to say that if women where at a healthier weight than they would have a smaller chest, think about their genetics and I also heard that is a girl drinks a lot of 2% milk their brest are genrally bigger and I have drank 2% milk my whole life and my chest is still growing. What I am saying is its not always about how much a woman weighs but also their generics.

What I am saying is its not always about how much a woman weighs but also their generics. That's exactly what I mean. Regardless of genetics however, if a girl has a higher percentage of body fat, she tends to have bigger on the basis of her genetic factor, not in comparison with others. Sorry that was unclear. Let's say we have two different women, same ht/wt, diet, and body fat percentage. If these women were to gain the same amount of weight, one might remain a small B while the other progresses into a big C. Some cultures have a bigger than average 'waistline' than others, so that does affect the average for breasts. I'm 22 and have drank 2% milk all my life and mine are still growing as well (though I have health factors that tie into why they still are), but because of my genetics I don't store much fat in my breasts and still have B cups. That's where the fat storage/genetics comes in.

There's a lot of people that if they were a healthy weight, their boobs would be smaller. So, there's that to take into account as well in that extra adipose tissue affects natural boob size. I was under the impression that the C average stat only applied to the US. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also, it's not unusual for someone to fit both a 34A and a 32B. Those are sister sizes, so to speak. Cup size not only increases with letter, but with band size as well. So a 34A will have a larger cup than a 32A, even though they're both A cups. So a 34A, 32B, 30C, 28D, etc, will all have comparable cup sizes, although the band changes. I, like the other Gaian above, also have a problem with you saying that a person of "healthy weight" would have a lower cup size. That's pretty ridiculous if you ask me, and was a completely unnecessary comment to make. Bodies differ, and what is a healthy weight for one person may be incredibly unhealthy for another person. This comment seemed like thinly veiled fat shaming to me, and I really don't understand how your explanation of genetics in your follow up comment clears this up.
