Good god... I've heard of extreme sugar and water intolerances, but this is the worst type of actual allergic reaction I have ever heard of.
Somebody needs to design that boy a special breathing mask. Poor thing.

That must be absolutely horrible. I can't imagine not being able to enjoy the food I love.

It seems there must be some kind of organization they could get in touch with to arrange play dates with other kids who have special needs.
And then a not too small part of me thinks, "How lucky they are to be able to afford to have a parent home all the time, special feeding equipment, and etc. If they were poor, he'd be long dead by now."
