Knowing that I have work on Monday, meaning that I have to wake up at 5:30am and still going to a weekend con... But I never would miss my work day if I have a con then. :c

I skipped out on Dramafest to go to SacWinter. It was worth it though!

I've given up going to my church's State Assembly that happened the same weekend as Matsuricon last year. Luckily they aren't happening at the same time this year. >.>
Well, driving-wise, 3 hours is tops. I have Scoliosis so long car rides kill my back.

I stick to Florida only Conventions as that's the only ones most of my friends seem to hit up. So basically I'll only go as far as the Tampa area. About 3-4 hours away. Went to Megacon on the 17th, had a blast though. We're basically somewhat money tight, but not as much as we used to be.

I live in the Detroit area. The farthest that I would go is to Anime Central in Chicago and Ohayocon in Columbus Ohio. My favorite Cons are Youmacon in Detroit and Jafax in Grand Rapids Michigan.

I'd say across the country, I aspire to go to Sakura con someday. Mainly cuz I want to meat Fighting Dreamers Pro and they always go to Sakura con. My only problem is a) it is across the country(I live in the Boston area) and b) often the same weekend as Anime Boston. ...But someday I WILL go. ^-^

And every time you ask him for another vanishing act, he half smiles as if to say... My second convention included driving through 3 states besides the one I live with (first time driving out-of-state and included New Jersey, which is terrifying and smelly), 4 hours of driving each way (longest drive I had made was less than an hour), staying with people I had never met (a friend's relatives, but I'm terrified of new people), and having to go to work with only 3 hours of sleep or so after the convention weekend.
Totally worth it.

I'm willing to go to LA from PHX in my 16 MPG Jeep for AX this summer... Now to only find a place to stay, getting a ticket, getting grub....
