So, i think I'm just going to keep irregularly proposing a game using this system until the stars align and It actually gets off the ground.
For those of you not in the know, Dungeons: the Dragoning 40000 7th edition is the game to end all games, and in the darkness bind them. The most recent rules (with a kinda shitty Table of Contents, but meh) along with the first splat book, which contains more options, and rules for vehicles of all scales, are linked Here. Read up.
I would really, really love to play this system, but I don't want to demand someone else run a game for me, so I'll satisfy myself with trying to play SM for a game. I'd need at least four players to feel comfortable running it, and would prefer more, due to the nature of PbP games. I have several ideas about what kind of game to run, and honestly I'll take player suggestions or requests for genre at such if it'll get more people interested.
So who's ready to play Dungeons: the Dragoning

Mongooseh Captain Ragnar Devonin The name alone makes me want to check it out... ... my device screams in agony when I try to, and crashes. Boo. sad It is a system started as a homebrew joke system by 4chan's /tg/ but turned out to be a pretty comprehensive system. not entirely accurate. it was started by a guy due to an Adeptus Evangelion game. Apparently in the distant future of Neo-Tokyo (according to his playgroup) all the big names of gaming had been forced to merge/takeover each other to form a super-company, known as White Wizards Workshop (that's white wolf, WotC, and Games Workshop) which produces a game called Dungeons: the Dragoning, which is the sum total of all their individual games. This is apparently the RPG of choice in Neo-Tokyo, and in a moment of recursive gaming, this playgroup's characters started playing DtD one game, withe the players more or less making up the rules.
This one specific player was, apparently, so taken by the idea that he made a real system out of it, and released it on /tg/, april 1 of last year, to initially dubious reactions (he posted the cover image and a mediafire link, everyone assumed it was a fake image and porn (the bad kind) file) but ultimately it was praised as RIFTS done right, and/or the greatest gift the board could ever receive. This specific reaction has been immortalized here.

just giving this a wee bump with a hope and prayer.
also, I'd just like to point out some things, because I fear some of you aren't even looking into the books. In dungeons the dragoning, you can play: a kobold paragon who is heavy weapon guy (it takes an entire dragon's hoard to fire his weapon for twelve seconds) a double dragon blooded dragonborn who can turn into a dragon (and the dragoning has only just begun!) a bionic commando (or a bionic sniper, or a bionic thief, or a bionic tree, or a bionic robot. We'll put bionics on anything.) On that note, you can play a giant robot tree (Made of darksteel, no less) an ork loli (and then WAAAAAGH in the bed) a slutty thri-kreen who grew tits (You either just got really confused or really hard, be honest)
And much, much more. Join today.
