"Odessa" her mother said, having wanting to tell her daughter what she saw herself so she had talked her daughter into taking a walk with her while Gersif watched over Oliver as he slept "darling, come, sit down" she said as she gestured over to a small hill that had the sun beating down on it "I wish to tell you something" she said as she walked up the hill and sat down, waiting for her daughter.

Odessa followed her mother up the hill and sat down next to her "yes, what's wrong mom?" She asked before quickly following on "it isn't daddy or Ele is it?" She asked, hoping those two were fine.

"They are fine but they have nothing to do with this...well, not directly anyway, I am wishing to talk to you about your relationship with Gersif, please, talk with me?" She asked, hoping her daughter wouldn't object.

"I don't know what you want me to say, we are the same as we ever were just...a bit better, no we haven't set a date for the official mateship or whatever you care to call it but after that night we have gotten closer, we both have hinted about wishing to be more but, I admit, it is I who wishes to not go there, I don't want to, after what happened that night I just think that it is better left being forgotten" she said, looking away from her mother, having not exactly blanked out the night completely just that she and Gersif actually 'did it' that night and she hated herself for using him like that. After the events of that night she and Gersif were heading home to see Oliver and the rest of them but as they were she had broken down and started to cry over the fact she had been so stupid and how things had turned out etc and the comfort Gersif had given her lead to something else and in the end she pretty much forced Gersif to have sex with her, alright he was willing as well, it wasn't entirely 'her fault' but still, given the circumstances, it was her just trying to forget what happened by covering it up with something 'good' and 'her being in control' and the shock not helping etc, it was wrong of her and she hadn't really been able to look at Gersif in the eye ever since, not that she hated it exactly just that she and Gersif should NEVER have done it given the circumstances.

"Odessa, darling, what's wrong?"

"Oh nothing" she said shaking her head to clear it "anywho, why did you want to know about Gersif and I?" She asked curiously.

"Well..." she said as she thought back to the morning Odessa and Gersif had arrived home, it was exactly two weeks from that horrible night and whilst something good was coming out of something bad it wasn't exactly the outcome she may want considering but, as her mother and the one who can foresee future events she had to tell her daughter "I had a vision in the early afternoon of the day you met up with that male and why Gersif and Thane went in mine and your fathers place, I foresaw that night and I never told you about it because I didn't want you to be upset with me, I didn't want you to tell me to mind my own business etc which is why I sent Gersif and Thane after you, they could stop whatever happened more then I or your father could and so I sent them to follow you instead. Please, Odessa, please forgive me" she begged her daughter, a tear falling down her cheek, this had eaten her up inside for far too long and whilst she understood if her daughter never would forgive her she just hopped that some day she did, it was wrong of her to keep it from her daughter after she forcing her children that honesty is the best policy and all of that but she just hopped that given the circumstances, she would understand as to why she never did tell her.

"Oh mom" she said as she lent over and nuzzled her "I never blamed you! I am alright aren't I? I am glad you sent Thane and Gersif after me, you know as much as I did that I wouldn't be able to free myself from the situation, I got the gift of Divination not daddys gift of fighting, even though he has become rusty, I wouldn't of been able to do anything against him so I am pleased you sent them, i may not be here with you now if you hadn't" she said as she kissed her mothers cheek. "I love you mom, I could never be upset with you, you know that" she said as she nuzzled her once more and sat back, smiling at her "I am just pleased you and daddy didn't come, I didn't want you two to end up hurt when you have Electra to worry about, it was better you two stayed back, Thane and Gersif are fighters, Gersif and Thane saved me that night and it was thanks to you that I am able to be here today" she said as she laid down, deciding to get herself more comfy.

Cassandra sighed a small soft sigh of relief and settled down by her daughter "thank you, darling" she said as she nuzzled her daughters cheek with her nose gently "but I do have one more piece of news, a vision I got about a week back, given you are getting back to normal life and everything I decided to hold off from telling you but I think now is the right time to before you get too further along and find out for yourself with the surprise and/or shock of it."

"Well" Odessa said smiling at her mother "enough rambling, please, tell me" she said as she wanted to know, she had her fathers curiosity, no one would believe it if she said her father was like a child when it came to being curious, it was one of the things that always made her giggle when she was around him, he would act like a child trying to get information out of their parents who are with holding information on the gifts the child was getting for Christmas and he would do whatever he could to get the information out of her.

Cassandra giggled "you know, you and your father need to learn to not be so impatient" she said grinning at her daughter "anyway, I wasn't sure how far into the future it was but it was in the future and it showed you curled around four eggs with Gersif laying next to you, Oliver wasn't there and nor was anyone else, it was just you, Gersif and your new babies" she said, hoping her daughter would be alright with this news.

Odessa stayed laying there next to her mother, smile gone and now just sitting there in shock "wh...how...?" She said after a rather long moment of silence "you have to have gotten the vision wrong, mom, I can't be pregnant" she said, knowing that when her mother has visions they are future visions but visions that happen within a few weeks of happening, whether the events of the visions happened two hours later or two weeks later, they happened (with the odd one here and there that showed a few months into the future) she didn't know that but her and Gersif are...are having children!? No, not now, she couldn't.

"Odessa?" She asked, hoping Odessa was alright.

"I...I am fine mama, I am just in shock" she said as the idea of having children sunk in "I...I don't want to be a parent!" She said, knowing that probably sounded a tad bad "I am happy with Oliver, I am happy that it is just us three..." she said, knowing she sounded horrible but it was true, she DID like it just being her, Gersif and Oliver, sure Gersif ended up meaning more to her then she ever thought he would but still, as much as she had grown to love him she couldn't have his children yet, if she did in the future then so be it but now...now just wasn't the right time.

"It's alright darling, just relax and let it sink in, you are going to be a fantastic mother! And I am sure Gersif will be a fantastic father" she said as she watched her daughter get up "where are you going?" She asked curiously.

"Thank you for your support mom but I think I need to go talk to Gersif" she said as she lent over and nuzzled her "I love you mom, thank you for telling me" she said as she took off, running towards the cave, thinking that maybe, on the way home, she may start feeling like she wanted those babies, not that she would neglect them or whatever when they finally arrived but still, if she was in the frame of mind where she wanted them etc it would be easier then loving them for the sake of loving them which, in the end, would end up with her hating herself for doing that.

Odessa had stopped off at an apple tree that grew near by her cave and jumpped up into the treet to grab a nice fresh one and jumped back down again, eating it quickly yet carefully, wanting to not choke herself on it, she finished it and made her way to the lake for a drink, sitting there for a few moments looking at her reflection, took a deep breath in and let it out, thinking about what her mother said before looking over at the cave and sighed, a part of her was starting to get excited about the idea of children, she did love them, but still, she didn't think she was ready yet. "Oh well...time to face the music" she said as she turned and walked towards her cave that wasn't too far away, the distance being perfect for her when she first moved here but now, she wished the cave was as far away from the lake as possible, would give her longer to think about things but, before she knew it, she was home "how is he?" She asked as she didn't bother about waiting for an answer and looked into the cave herself to see the pup still dead to the world.

"Gersif, we need to talk" she said as she gestured away from the cave, far enough so they were able to talk in privet but close enough to know not to leave Oliver alone.

"The runes are fine, I may not wish to go further with my Divination ability but I would never actually ask you to stop doing it, you are your own Kitsu, it is up to you if you want to still do your runes or not" she said smiling at her and took a deep breath and let it out "this is good news...well, that depends on how you want to perceive it as" she said stopping, not sure how to start this, how do you tell a guy you slept with once he was now a father? Odessa shook her head to clear it and decided to just tell him. "As you know I went for a walk with my mother earlier and we stopped to talk about things and she explained to me why I had you and Thane sent after me on that...night and whatever and I accepted the fact she couldn't go, she and daddy had to take care of themselves for Electra's sake but she also told me about a vision she had about a week ago and that involved both of us, you know that night we had after after the events of what happened earlier that night? Well it wasn't as fruitless as one may have thought.

Gersif, you and I are going to be parents, apparently we are having four" she said smiling at the idea of it, alright so in the beginning she wasn't entirely sure about it all but now that she actually had to speak the words and tell Gersif he was going to be a father she couldn't help herself, the idea was growing on her greatly, maybe it wouldn't be too bad after all.

Odessa smiled at him, she was pleased he was happy but still, for her, sure she was starting to get happy but right at this moment? Yeeeah, not so much, guess it is not only still sinking in but the whole fact she was now a mother-to-be well...it wasn't still her thing, she still was reserved a little, she was slightly more excepting of it but still, she didn't want to be a mother yet "I am glad you are so happy" she said, trying to make it sound less like she wasn't happy but knew she was failing at it. "Question is, how do we tell Oliver? Technically he will be the big brother buuuut...' she said looking back at the cave "given he is a perma well..." she said, she knew size didn't make him less of a big brother and they would teach their kids to respect him and treat him kindly and all but still, it would probably be a little hard on him seeing his siblings grow and not him even if he was over the whole 'wanting to grow' bit in his life, it wouldn't be easy on him.

"That sounds actually a pretty good thing to tell him" she said, smiling at him "I just worry though about that whole growing thing, I mean, he seems to be over the fact he wont grow but seeing his brothers and sisters grow I am scared those old feelings might be aroused again and he will hate being left behind" she said with a soft sad sigh, not wanting to have her son feel like this...if he will, of course.

"Now this is why I have you around" she teased a little, smiling at him "you say all the right things...well, some of the time anyway" she said smiling at him "but I agree, this will be best if we go this way but we do have to make sure it will be alright" she said as she lent over and licked his cheek "thank you" she said sitting down, so many things were going through her head but the one thing that stood out was the fact she was having babies, of course, the fact he and Thane are still owed her life and the fact that she was was glad to have had the right Kitsu to have them with. "I am pleased to have you as the father of our children, I really couldn't ask for a better father" she said, smiling at him, he was going to be a fantastic father, she just hoped she was going to be a good mother, Calliope and Sayako raised Oliver mostly so these babies will be all her own doing, she will have to start from scratch with these, she just hoped she was able to do a good job.

Odessa smiled at the lick softly as she shook her head "oh stop that, you know they will be lucky to have you as a father" she said as she sat down "though, if truth be told, I am still not 100% sold on this parenting idea, don't get me wrong, I am not saying I don't want them it's just that I never really wanted to become a mother, at least not now anyway, I just feel like I am going to love them for the sake of loving them and I don't want that, it is wrong to just love your own children for the sake of it, but I just don't feel ready for this" she said with a sigh, hoping he didn't hate her for feeling this way.

Odessa nodded, he was right, she probably would, it only took Oliver an instant to have her fall in love with him and she wasn't even his biological mother but he was just simply adorable, she couldn't just ignore him "I feel you may be right, I guess the actual reality of an idea and the idea just in itself are two different things" she said as she nuzzled him "thank you for putting up with me and for saying the right things" she said as she licked his cheek "want to go tell Oli he is going to be a big brother or let him sleep a little longer?" She asked, wondering if she should also catch some fish for lunch just while she was here.
