i don't think she is. when fin saw them take of their hats they all had gills. i think she is some kind of half fish/half human.

I think she's human.... then again, she asked Finn why he didn't have gills. Maybe she doesn't either... neutral

Chocolate Star Wars If you pay attention to the background characters, a few of them are humans... Wrong, evey "Human" (exept fin and maybe Susan) was whipped out durring the great mushroom war. every one else is just chuck testa (or a mutant)

I think she was human, but then the war happened and chemicals in the aftermath caused a strange half-fish, half-human creature to be created. Obviously, this is not very scientific, but I don't know how else to word it.
