Today's tidbit of information makes me wonder why people don't bump mermaids more. Yes yes I know they don't all always glow when the tank is glowing, but seriously if you can still make 2k or more from only 6 mermaids glowing at a time then just think what you could make if all 17 glowed at once Hence why mermaids are SO much better than dolphins. There prettier to look at also.

souldriving Today's tidbit of information makes me wonder why people don't bump mermaids more. Yes yes I know they don't all always glow when the tank is glowing, but seriously if you can still make 2k or more from only 6 mermaids glowing at a time then just think what you could make if all 17 glowed at once Hence why mermaids are SO much better than dolphins. I know right? This is why Mermaid Awareness Week is so important. They're by far the best paying fish for their cost, and their life expectancy makes maintenance easy. You don't have to worry about replacing a fish every week or 2 because one died off. You wait a hair over 9 months, and when they die, you sell their drops on the MP for the incredible prices they go for, and use that money to refill your tank, TWICE OVER! Lol So not only do the memphis earn the owners money by their extremely low maintenance, but they also pay for their own replacements two fold when they die!
Dolphins are wonderful fish, don't get me wrong, but if they're too spread out during a game, or you get hit by a bad power-down and miss one drop of the red gold, you basically made that game just as good as any of the cheaper fish available.
By the way, you just had 8 mermaids glowing I believe, and after I bumped, I went in for the game, and scored 2705/1130, which while including the 500g bonus, is STILL above 2k. And that's less than a half tank glowing. I've been promoting the under-appreciated Memphis since I began getting my aquarium together. It just seems that since Dolphins USED to be the best available fish, people are still in that mindset.
However, given the same amount of players, a memphis tank will beat out a dolphin tank any day of the week. The only reason our memphis tanks don't do so well, is because we don't get the bumps we need to make that number of players.
My oldest memphis is 105 days old. That's only a hair over 3 months, and a little over 1/3 of it's entire lifespan, and my tank has already made me a little over 2m. Meaning my tank's already bought me another half of a tank by now, and I still have a whole other 6 months to go! Not to mention that half of my mermaids are still only around 70-80 days old.
I have no idea why Memphis get so little love.

Or if you went the route I'm going I do the daily cash tree which nets me 10 GC a day. Since the mermaids are only 75 GC that is: 1275 GC to get 17 of them. If you did the cash tree everyday for a whole week you would be getting. 70 GC a week and 280 GC in a month. Do that for 10 months and you have 2800 GC, so you wouldn't even spend any of your real money and none of your gold from your tank, so everything would be purely profit. After the 2800 minus the 1275 and you still have 1525 left over to buy some shiny new RIG bundle from the CS or well the current one in the shop at that time or to buy some other item from the CS. Even the 1499 Zodiacal you could buy too, but only 1 of them. So yeah very very underappreciated fish indeed.
