What is a watch list and how to I use it? What is the difference between the wish list and the watch list?

If I am remembering correctly, a "wishlist" is the items that you want or are questing for, and a "watchlist" is the list of items that you have bid on in the market place.

So, if I understand correctly, that means the only thing that will be on a watchlist are the items that you place a bid on in the mp?.
