im so confused. is it supposed to be based on the game or is it just called battleship?

Well... since Hasbro's one of the production companies behind it, I'm guessing yes, it is in fact supposed to be based on the game in that uh... there is an ocean, and there are battleships, and I'm sure at some point in the movie somebody is gonna make the obligatory cheesy "You sunk my battleship!" line, but everything beyond that point is anybody's guess xD

Well it's basically like Robot Chicken already showed with the whole board games to movie thing. Ya know where they had Chutes and Ladders, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and Slip n Slide,

The only role I can visualize Liam Neeson in is his role as "James" the player characters father in Fallout 3. blaugh

Based on the trailer for it, it looks like Transformers but only with ships. Should be interesting to see how they pull it off.
