I have a mild obsession with Scandinavia ever since I went on the Viking ride at EPCOT.
But it was a long time in the making because of my interest in Germanic folklore and culture,
especially being an English major drawn to the oldest English literature, Beowulf, Anglo-Saxon, and such.
