I recently recolored an old piece that I wasn't happy with. I was wondering if anyone else has gone back and redone some of their old work. I'd like to see it. I learned quite a bit since the last one.

Although I will say, I also have the tendency to never finish because I'll always find more mistakes. What makes you move to the next piece?

I've actually never re-worked an old drawing... but it does sound like something I should try at some point : 3.

For me, most of my old drawings never get finished for 2 main reasons. Lack of interest.... (I quickly loose interest in drawing the picture if it takes me more than 2 sittings) And laziness (my biggest foe, which I really should try to over come more... I'm too easily distracted... so when a show or game pops up, I'm more likely to go watch them then draw)

I'm the same way. I have a lot of problems just finishing things. Although I suppose it is possible to watch tv and draw at the same time....video games are another story though. I can't complete anything when I'm addicted to a nice game.

yea... what we need to do is work on our self discipline... its hard but the only way to get past that is by trying to over come it : D You can do it!!!! XD so can I!!!! lol

I almost never do anything to my old drawings, occasionally I redraw them though.
I really like that green candle and the holder in the background ^^

I move to the next piece when I have an idea.
Otherwise I waist time on something that I could call finish but I try to avoid that ^^'

Thanks, I think those were my first time drawing purely digital and not doing them in pencil first.

That's a really good point. The second piece has been in work since January and I still haven't finished it because of nitpicking on repairing the details. Maybe I should attempt to leave things as they are.
