And I just wanted to know how fluent are you with Japanese?
And I wanted to try roleplaying in Japanese (hiragana/katakana/kanji) because I wanted to practice my sentence making (and exploring how to describe different things and actions in Japanese) and also my kanji usage. If you download Rikaichan, it shouldn't be a problem to be able to read my kanji. But it's up to you, if romaji is easier.
I've been speaking Japanese since I was a child. My mother is Japanese, and I think it was my first language...But had to learn English during Kindergarten. But I've never roleplayed in Japanese so...I may have problems typing out long posts (I usually don't type out more than 2 paragraphs in English). But I haven't roleplayed in English either, so...This will be interesting.

I've been told that my Japanese skills are up to the second collegiate level, meaning that I can keep a journal in Japanese, recognize a lot of kanji and understand some of what I recognize. I can also read hiragana and katakana and know some use of the articles and verb tenses. LOL My Japanese English dictionary is my best friend. ^^ It sounds to me like we're around the same level. The story line could be anything. How about two friends going through an average life until something unexpected happens? I've roleplayed for quite a long time, but I'm cool with just two paragraphs. I could also go for other plots too, if you have any. ^^ Sorry my response took so long; I've been so busy with college and everything... LOL I've downloaded Rikaichan. It's perfect! I've been using Rikaichan since a year ago, and SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND EVAAAAA. Especially when I have to find the English meaning for 100+ kanji, I just type them all out on Gaia, post it up, then hover over each word and get the meaning! So simple, rather than typing each word into an online dictionary, hopefully finding the meaning, then back spacing (waiting for pages to load) and re-doing everything. This week I'll be busy ; A; I have a book to read and write a report for, which I've been procrastinating.

LOL And how about they get pulled into a world were nobody can be trusted, so they end up having to work together and trust only each other to survive and get back home? I just thought of something...I always see movies and such about people from the modern world, getting sucked into a fantasy world. But how interesting (yet boring) would it be for someone from a fantasy world, to be thrown into a modern world? What type of world were you thinking about? I thought it would be interesting for two modern folks (usss) to be thrown into like, a final fantasy-esque world...At least, I was always interested in roleplaying in those FF-esque worlds. Perhaps...In this FF world, somehow, people from the Modern World (another dimension/parallel universe or the future) get sucked into that FF-esque world, and the government is trying to find out why this is happening (it's kinda rare still) and also trying to cover it up, and to find and capture anyone thought to be from the Modern World. And we have to survive...And there could also be a reason why we're being sucked in...Idk, mad scientists that want to advance the technology in the FF world so they seek knowledge from these people who they think are from the future. Maybe it's actually the government that is trying to make it look like they have no idea why these Modern people are appearing, but they're actually behind it so that they may get "future" technology, and crush their neighboring enemies or what not...And our characters have to blend in as much as possible, but perhaps there are troubles such as check points where guards as people a question only FF people would know, or that each person has to submit a talisman that only FF people have so that they can prove that they're not Modern people. And there may be some incidences where Modern people kill FF people for their talismans...And how some of the FF people hate the Modern people because they're causing trouble, and our characters have to distinguish from the people who are interested in Modern people, and from those who want to kill us.
