~*No matter the time of day or night, one can always whip up a quick meal for themselves or others in this fully-stocked Kitchen!
There is even a dishwasher to make cleaning up Super-simple *snigger at bad pun* and easy!
It is a relatively large room, cupboards line both sides, a bench in the center and an additional sink on the far wall.
Cutlery can be found in the top draw to the left, plate in the doors below it...
Fridge to the right, Oven/Stove to the right of the cupboards and several other ncessary items can be found either on benches or in the cupboards.
There is a large table in the middle of the room, large enough to accomodate any gathering, seats are stacked in a hidden compartment in one of the walls...there are always at least five out, in any case.
The only rule: If you use it, clean it!
Food Fights are optional...(Just rember If you participate in a food fight you clean it up)
On occasion, the Titans may have breakfast, lunch or dinner together...if not, the microwave can be used for popcorn...because you can;t watch a Movie in the Common Room without Popcorn...*~

Finially the elevator stopped and opened its doors on the third floor, as Carol and Sara got off it.
"So which way do we go to get the food?" Sara asked seeing four different hallway paths.

Sara's difficulty with having others accept her saddened Carol, but these were the ways of the world. If only things were peaceful and the humans threw their prejudices aside.. she thought to herself. The thought reminded her of the reason she joined the Teen Titans in the first place.
"What places did you like going to on your weekends?" she asked. Carol herself hadn't been outside the Tower's perimeters much; strangely enough, the Tower provided almost everything that was necessary. She did, however, suddenly fantasize about taking Sara to outdoor picnics in local parks, or going shopping. The seven year old was human, after all, and humans had a thing for clothes and toys.
"Oh, and this way" she added, stepping out of the elevator and making a right turn. The hallway soon opened up to a dining hall which was connected to a self-operating kitchen area. Two of the four hallways led to this area as a matter of fact, and the dining hall could be seen from the elevator. "If you ever need to come here again, just remember: 3rd floor, and, well.. just follow your nose" she told Sara.

"Ok. I used to go to the park, the pool, and even the zoo frequently. on weekends, as long as it wasn't rainning." Sara said as she followed Carol

Carol was impressed with her daughter's mature vocabulary. "The zoo you say?" she stated, turning towards the kitchen area. "What's your favorite animal?"
She grabbed a stool-chair for Sara to sit in while Carol would prepare food. Squatting down, she lifted Sara and propped her on the stool. A countertop was located conveniently in front of Sara (she was sitting at a large kitchen island). "Oh, by the way, what would you like to eat dear" she asked, walking over to the other side of the island; where the stovetops and sinks were located. A large fridge took up a wall within the kitchen; and a walk-in freezer vault also existed, for even more preserved goods.

"I liked the sea otter that they had the most they wre funny to watch." Sara said answering the first question then followed up by repying to the other. "Is there any hamburgers?"

Carol grinned. "I think I remember sea otters. Aren't those the little weasel-looking things that swim in water?" she asked, opening a bread cabinet and retrieving a bag of white bread hamburger buns. Laying them down on the counter for now, she walked over to the refrigerator and took out some ground meat that she then layed on a white cutting board. She continued the procedure, setting the stove, picking out a flat pan, etc.
"How many would you like" she asked, preparing to section off the meat for the patties. She was planning on making herself one too; and perhaps a salad.

Carol held up two fingers in response, cutting sections of beef with her claws. She picked each patty up and placed them onto the large pan. They sizzled pleasantly, setting off a a trail of steam/smoke. Carol quickly turned on the exhaust hood, hoping not to cloud the kitchen with smoke.
"We should have some otters at the Tower. And a giraffe!" Carol marvelled at the image that came up in her head; of the entire team riding out against the Hive on a giant giraffe. "Yes we definately need some of those"

Sara gave Carol a quizicale look."What do you mean by the tower needing giraffes? Mother" Sara asked not understanding why Carol said what she said.

"Oh nothing" Carol replied, smiling to herself. "Just being random. But it would be cool, wouldn't it? To have a pet giraffe walking around, eating hamburgers with us"
She wrapped the remainder of the beef up and placed it back in the refrigerator. After rinsing her hands, she opened the refrigerator again and this time took out a head of lettuce, a tomatoe, avocado, and dressing. Before closing the refrigerator, she also brought out some orange juice. "Juice? Sara?" she asked, leaning back to see Sara's expression.

Jane walks in the kitchen. "hey Carol, have you Sphyria? i'm going to try to explain the whole incident at the pool." then she sees Sara. "hello. how are you?"

Carol closed the fridge and set the orange juice out.
"Jane!" Carol said excitedly. "I haven't seen Sphyria yet, I thought she might have flown back to you. Oh this is Sara", she gestured at the young girl that sat in the stool-chair. Carol leaned against the island, happy that her 'daughter' has finally met someone. "I'm her.. guardian"

"Sara has powers, like us. She just came here today from her boarding school" she told Jane, returning to making her salad as she spoke. "Sara this is Jane, a good friend of mine". With Sara around, Carol felt that she needed to be more responsible, and this occassionally led to a more serious side to Carol. At the moment, she was focused on preparing food and making sure the burgers didn't burn.
"Hey Jane, would you like a hamburger?" she asked, walking back to the stovetop just in time to flip the patties. They smelled delicious.
