~*The room itself is simple in it's elegance, the colour schemes of blues, yellows and deep greens somehow swirl both up and down the colour specturm in perfect contrast and harmony.
Many strange objects adorn the walls of the room, some on shelves, others on furniture...no pictures are anywhere to be found of her homeworld, but there are several of her smling with teammates in various activities.
The bed is large and shaped, almost round; exotic plants line the edges of the room and the walls, all contained and quite beautiful in their own unique way...
Many more are inthe Garden below.
There is a bathroom attached to the side wall, although the shower does malfunction on some occasions and she is forced to use the common one down the hall, it was only after such an occasion that she realised exactly how prudish humans were compared to Tremarians...
Next time she used a towel...
This is a place where Sphyria is most at home, and she likes it...though others are free to enter when they will...*~

~*After the failed attempt at using the television, Sphyria paced the length of her room...a full foot off the floor, so as not to wear out the carpet...
She muttered in her native language, finding the rhythm of Tramarian to be quite soothing in present times, "M'yet, hrrtel! Television, cousan grel d'ran! X'hal!!!!"
She still pondered over how she could convince one of the others to share the 'English' with her, but found, as she had decided in the Lounge Room, she could not confront them with such an issue...
Maybe one of them could fashion a translator for her...?*~

 Astrol's directions were still clear in her mind, but when Carol arrived at the hallway she no longer needed to repeat the door sequence in her head. She sensed movement in one of the doors in particular; one that must contain a new occupant.
Carol knocked politely as soon as she got to the door; the feathers at the back of her neck and spine fluttered momentarily in anticipation.

~*There was a sound at the door, Sphyria waved her hand over the access pad and admitted them.
She smiled, "H'ret miel!" she bowed, greeting the other...wher eoh where was a translator when she needed one?*~

Carol's eyes glanced up to meet those of Sphyria's. She smiled widely, and threw out her pale hand between them; the gesture meant for a friendly hand shake.
Carol had caught the foreign language that Sphyria was obviously fluent in; she wondered if that were the only language the beautiful new Titan knew. Astrol forgot to mention this.. she thought, wondering how this may complicate a few things. Carol hadn't been with the Titans all that long, and her specialty and knowledge in advanced technology was sparse. She had been raised by an old couple who's customs were not up-to-date with the newer, tech-savvy generations. Perhaps she would have learned the trade in school; that is, if she had been enrolled in it.
She wondered if Jane would know a solution to this; one that would be faster than teaching a young adult a brand new language.
For now, Carol merely smiled, emitting welcoming energy. Body language has always been the universal language.

Jane followed Carol into Sphyria's room. she saw a very pretty girl who she assumed was Sphyria. "hi, i'm jane." she said cheerfully

~*Turning at the sound of a new voice, Sphyria bowed, "H'ret Miel!"
Taking the proffered hand of the first-comer...Carol?...she looked at it uncertainly...but was relieved by the pumping action the other initiated.
"Tr'aggan Muin Sphyria", she gestured to herself, hoping the action would help a little...Tremarian was quite a difficult language to learn and not many outside her world spoke it freely...
Well, those who had not 'recieved' it when information was not exchanged...
But she had a feeling that would be awkward on this world of 'humans' who made the 'lip-press' into something so much more personal than a general exchange of knowledge...
No, her best hopes were convincing another to build a translator...
In the meantime, she smiled and made slow, stroking movements with her arms, wishing to convey her wish to visit the Pool...*~

 Carol retrieved her hand after the shake, and let it fall against her side. She propped her other hand on her slim hip and listened to Sphyria's mystical language with smiling eyes. Carol's ears and memory were able to pick up the vocals, and with Sphyria's gestures toward herself, she estimated what the phrase must have meant.
"Tr-ag-on mueen... Carol" she said, her eyes wandering as she tried to pronounce the words correctly. It was far more difficult than thinking of the fluent interpretation she had going in her head. She smiled nervously, hoping her statement was understandable.
She tried again, just in case, "Carol" she spoke, her fingertips proding at her own chest.
She observed Sphyria's stroking movements which brought a number of possibilities to her mind. Flying? Escaping? Crawling?

Carol brought her hands together.
"Swimming! Yes! Jane, that must be it" she exclaimed, thankful that Jane had cracked the code. It had to be it, they even had a swimming pool in the Tower. Carol looked to Sphyria, but remembered the language barrier. I wonder if she can at least understand English she thought, waiting for Sphyria's response to Jane's question.

~*Sphyria looked at the other girl, recognising the word...
Again, she made the stroking motions and smiled, saying, "Turan! Sw-sw-swim'ng?"
When the other nodded, she jumped up and down, clapping her hands in joy...maybe communicating wasn't going to be so hard after all...
She hovered off the floor and flew to her 'war-drob-e' which was full of clothes someone had thoughtfully brought her...looking for the 'swim'ng su-weet' someone had bought her...
Locating the shimmering Golden fabric in the back of the closet...*~

Carol examined the golden fabric that Sphyria withdrew from where she stood.
"It's beautiful" she said, almost mesmerized by how the lights of Sphyria's room hit on its shiny surface. For once, Carol almost felt the desire for something fancy. Logic quickly took over her dreams however; the tight fabric would most definately ruin her feathers. Instead, she planned to swim as she would fight. Her species have no need for clothing really, their feathers provide perfect insulation and cover.
Carol was excited that they'd be going to the pool. Would they choose the indoor pool or the outdoor? Personally, the fresh air might be good for her and Jane. The sun was warm and welcoming that day as well. She nearly ran up to Sphyria and grabbed her hand, ready to direct everyone to the swimming pools; but remembered the shiny swimsuit in Sphyria's hands.
"Do you need a moment to change?" she asked, tugging at her own shirt.

~*Sphyria looked at the other girl and tilted her head, quizzically.
"Cha- Ch'nge?" she repeated, looking at the girl's actions...
She grabbed the front of her own outfit and tugged, holding up the swimsuit, "Ch'nge?"
It seemed to be the right thing to say, so she started to discard her outfit right there...only to pause...ah, the modesty thing...
Humans really were strange creatures...
Why not show off your body...?
She sighed and smiled, grabbing the outfit and walking into the small bathroom she had been assigned.

After wrestling with the garment for a few moments, it finally ended up mostly on her...she carefully replaced her royal battle suit on the counter and walked out.
Ready for the pool...*~

Carol's feathered mohawk grew plump and more defined. She was excited to revisit the pool; a site she had not been to in a long while. The feathers along her back and head had always fluffed up when she was in a happy, excited mood-- they would also rise when she would be tense or angered; much like a cat.
Seeing Sphyria step out of the bathroom, Carol turned and began for the hallway, stopping at the doorway to turn back to Jane and the new Titan.
"Let's go" she announced, smiling gently. She wondered if she should let Sphyria lead the way. Does she know the perimeters of this place yet? she thought to herself, wondering how long Sphyria had been here before they had met. Carol would gladly lead them to the pools; but she wondered which of the two Sphyria and Jane would prefer. I wish I could just ask her and she'd understand she thought, wondering how this would potentially be a problem. She wondered how battle strategies would be enforced, how histories and even little things like schedules would suddenly become a challenge to explain.
Carol searched her memory as she waited in the doorway fo Sphyria's room, trying to remember if there were a droid that could possibly act as a translator for the time being.

~*Smiling in anticipation, I hover over the floor, blue eyes glowing with excitement!
It was nice to meet these others, especially as none of them had pointed or stared, as had the other humans...it was as if they had never seen...a...Tremarian...before...Oh!
Ah, suddenly the reason a blue-skinned, horned, 'elvish' alien creature appearing from the skies and taking down a Ormation battle-cruiser with her bare hands and star-bolts, would look a bit strange...
Of course, she had been under the impression this world...this, Earth, had many of their own heroes...so the staring, screaming and running had surprised her...
Had she not just deflected their Death-Ray and saved countless lives...? Ah, but humans were strange like that...
It was nice to have found at least two, or three -if she could find the nice Astrol hero again-, people who were so accepting...
Ah, they beckon to the door, she smiles and nods, gliding out the door and down the Hallway, out to the Garden Pool.*~
